great find
Just got mine. It's just want I wanted. Imagine a pair of 2 way 6 inch aftermarket car speakers in a ported speaker box connected to a 100 watt rms per channel amp. In my opinion this is just what you are getting. As you should expect with 6 inch woofers, the bass is present, but your not going to feel it in your chest. This is not a bass tube. In a closed room, it is louder and clearer than your basic 2.1 computer speakers. However, this is not a product you get because you want indoor music. This is something you can take out in open space and turn it up load. The tube is basically a 12 inch cyclinder 3 feet long. It's lighter than it looks and the weight is balance, so you can shoulder strap it and walk with no problems. This is not a compact device trying to immulate a larger systerm. It does just want you would expect from two 6 inch woofers. Is it really 1,000 watts max? I doubt it. Nevertheless, it has all the power it needs to push it's woofers to the max.I don't know how long the battery last yet. The bluetooth has the same limitation of other bluetooth devices I've owned, probably more dependant on the source than this product. Worth $500, hell no!! But for under $250, this is a awesome purchase. Very manly piece of equipment :)

I do not recommended as an outdoor speaker system for sporting events
I do not recommended as an outdoor speaker system for sporting events. My team tried using this as a boom box for their warm ups. It was no where near loud enough. It gets louder if you plug it in and not use the Bluetooth to connect, but you still needed to be on either side of it to make out the songs due to the speakers being aimed to either side.

Garbage. If you want something twice as loud, 100 times better made and will actual bass, get a Kaboom! box.
Low quality workmanship Knobs will clearly not last long, the speakers are screwed inside into what seems to be dense cardboard.Horrible rattling/distorted sound at upper volumes. Use plain useless sound quality past about 75% for some songs.Max volume level equivalent to a 40w JVC Kaboom! box turned half way up, so about 20w, not sure what type of "math" was used to call it 1000w.Sound is *extremely* directional, as in, there is about a 400% gain in level if you stand to the side rather than in front. So it doesn't "fill" the room, just the sides. No bass to speak of. Just wild distortion and horrible rattling.Bluetooth seemed to work pretty well, but it basically allows anyone to "take over" the stereo while you have it plugged in and override wired sound. The unit doesn't always turn on, you have to turn the sound source on, turn it on and off a few times, while unplugging and plugging the sound and power cable in between and pressing the only button (standby) inbetween for it to both actually power on and then realize and auto-select the sound source (since you have no way to do so yourself). It looks striking and nice, the LED's glow rather well, and as pretty as you'd hope, with the rd adjusting & dancing to the music and the blue kicking in when there should be loud bass beats, so you can ate least see it even if the stereo can't handle any.I've bought & used Pyle's stereo 8" and 10" powered, fully enclosed systems before (PPHP898A & PPHP1037UB). While their bass is pretty low, they are infinitely better designed, better made, drastically louder, and at least don't rattle, distort, and start wildly vibrating around on top of the surface you put them on.I went with this because the the above two didn't have much bass and weren't easy to fly with, and the JVC Kaboom! keeps getting weaker and weaker with each new release and I need a good loud portable stereo to fill a bar sized area. I'd take one of the weakest/newest Kaboom! boxes over 10 of these though. Also one the speakers on this ripped itself out of place and started jumping around inside the box on the first night of use. All four of my Kaboom baoxes, one being from the original series from the early 90s, still works great. It's just been covered with hundreds of spilled drinks. This thing didn't last a night.

Great delivery time ordered thur @ 6pm had by sat 10:30 am. As for the Pyle Street Blaster its ok Bluetooth works great pairs with phone & my Kindle great. Used it for about 2 HRS sounded good @ first then it sounded like speaker blew already wile working in my garage. So I started looking @ the unit to see how it was put together. Figured what the heck might as well open it up to see if I could figure out what was wrong. As soon as I got it apart I saw the problem speaker screws came loose and foam seal blew out between the speaker and box so I got some weather striping and ran around both speakers. Put it back together and sounded better than be for so problem fixed must have bin a lot of air leaking on both speakers. But I have to say kind of disappointed in Pyle how can they say its a 1000 watt system when on the back of the speaker it is stamped 40 watts. THEIR IS NO WAY ITS EAVEN A 200 WATT SYSTEM. Din't like the the lights so if you don't as well no worries they can be disconnected and removed quickly. Lets just say its a good platform to improve on speakers wont last long but its built on a 10" bass tube so it looks like you can go up to a 8" woofer or even subwoofer in it without much work. And still use the cool trim rings and tweeter mounts. Bought it for work witch is a loud assembly plant want to c how long it takes to kill the orginal speakers first. After I do and like I said before I don't think its gonna be long then its time to improve on what Pyle started. I realy like the electronics and the adjustable settings and the Bluetooth is awesome. Don't get me wrong its a good sounding speaker system but not a Street Blaster as described so far with out improvements. Distorts to quickly without that much bass maybe after it breaks in that will improve the highs are good but can be over baring if not adjusted right. Over all not a bad product but not worth the $269 I payed for it .
