Fresh - Curad - Size XL comment
LATEX. I ordered Jan 2025 and my box is dated Manufactured May 2024. So about 10 months old. So not real old stock. I use about a box a year in the kitchen (food prep. Especially dough. They're a wonder with dough). A non-scientific NOTE: I wear XL gloves. I buy XL gloves. Military issued me XL Gloves. I'm wearing a new pair of these Curad XL gloves right now. They are a bit loose. Maybe XXL - so be warned or happy that these might fit loose in your size. I'm in my 60's and do a lot of stuff. Used to buy & use them as a mechanic in the military 20 years ( ChAir Force doesn't like dirty hands on engine mechanics). This is the first box of gloves I've ever seen that seem to be running a little large. Random brands across the years ran about 20% running small. But I've never had a loose glove. ( it's not flip-flapping, I can't manage to shake it off, but it's close). A definite loose air pocket in the palm, wrist band doesn't seal. But they're more "casual day" wear loose rather than proper skin tight form fitting. Your experience may vary. They'll work fine for my kitchen and random "don't want to get my hands dirty/stained" purposes. Definitely not for chemical or solvent use - Latex never is. If you're gonna be painting, staining, spraying bug killer, whatever - you should use Nitrile gloves are better. These are called Exam Glove for a reason. Good for a "Turn your head and cough" and prostate check, not manual labor or industrial work.

Good gloves
I love these gloves! They are thick and don’t break easily. The blue gloves leave my hands hard and scaly. The price was high for what I received. When I received them they were open and out of the box; therefore, not sterile at all. Also, I ordered two boxes and only received 1. The invoice said that there were 2 inside the box. That’s more about the seller though. I would definitely recommend them. Just use a different seller.

Go-To Gloves
The topic of disposable gloves is an interest one. There are many different kinds, and several different options you can have for each of these kinds of of gloves. In my case, this powder-free latex gloves are the only way to go. They are so elastic and stretch so well compared to other stiffer plastic gloves that break whenever you put them on. These are absolutely awesome and given that they are powder free you don't get that awful rubber/latex smell that sticks on your hands for what seems to be days with powdered gloves. I tried several different brands, and CURAD has proven to be perfectly reliable for home use, mechanical use when using tools, cooking use, and other cleaning needs. In terms of their durability, I have yet to have a glove break on me after 10 boxes of 100+ glove pairs per box. The only time I have had any of the finger tips break off on me is when I am doing something extremely abrasive with either firearms cleaning or engine work where the gloves get snagged and I rip through them. So, it's 100% user error in my case. In CURAD's defense though, these gloves are not mechanics grade gloves and they were never advertised or intended for heavy duty hard use. It's only happened to me 2 or 3 times total, but for those of you looking for thicker heavy duty mechanics gloves, there are specific brands that cater to those needs. Anyway, highly recommended gloves for anyone who wants elastic gloves that fit very well, don't leave an ugly smell on your hands, and are extremely dependable.

My Germaphobia Helpmate
I love these gloves, they are easy to put on and are stretchy enough to fit my husband's burly man hands (personally, I could use the medium instead of the large but he does the majority of the meat chopping for me, so this is what I work with and it still works out because my fingers are thinner but longer than his). I'd recommend small or medium gloves for women. The lack of powder is wonderful, since I sometimes go through several pairs a day doing things like meal preparations, cleaning the toilet bowl with a pumice stone (I worked as a maid in college and just about barfed when I saw one of the maids use her ungloved hand to pumice inside a toilet - gag) and the powder is pretty drying to the skin.My son uses the gloves every time he pooper scoops the littler box for our cat. I cringe thinking that I used to take care of my cat's litter when I was a kid completely gloveless, eek.I use the gloves to scrub the grout in my shower not so much for germ protection, but because the bleach-y cleaner is super hard on my skin. Same same with the oven cleaner.I love roasted beets, I use them in salad and hummus (I know beet hummus sounds weird but it really is delicious with a side of grilled pita and chicken) and these gloves keep me from getting the red beet juices on my hands when I peel the beets (beet juice stains on my fingernails look a bit scary).Speaking of fingernails, these gloves are pretty durable, I have thin but sharp fingernails, I keep them pretty short, I'm too lazy to paint and do all the other manicure stuff to them and these gloves stand up pretty well to my fingernails, I've not experienced tip tearing while doing something gross like breading chicken or filling wontons.I wish the price was a bit lower, if I bought them in the huge amount that healthcare centers buy them, they would be a lot cheaper. But all in all a great product and well worth the price.
