arrived in good time. The kit has photo etched parts which was exciting for someone who's just getting into PE parts. The kit does come with parts for a different turret, engine deck and with ammunition although you can only fully complete one turret and deck. You can also add torsion bars to the hull floor but they are the only internals that come with the kit. The turret has a few rough fits but the smoke grenades look surprisingly good and could easily be filled with black putty to look full. The tracks are individual links which look great when finished but take a lot of time and are fixed. The suspension arms have a small hole that mates with a pin on the hull to stay fixed but it could easily be removed to have the arm at any angle you want on its traverse, so making a diorama with this kit can be done. Fun build with a good amount of challenge for a intermediate modeller

The detail is good for the price and quality is good especially the tracks which are made up of individual links. The instructions were not as good as I expected from airfix but this was a minor gripe.

Can’t really comment on this as it’s stored. Was going cheap so snarled one. Heard some bad reviews but looks descent. Maybes a bit more effort required.

Good kit for the money, tracks are a bit fiddly, all individual links, mouldings are good, no excess flash, and parts fit together well.

Excellent kit for a good value. Easy to assemble, although the link tracks cause some difficulty if it’s your first time doing it.

Comes together great likely the best airfix model iv ever delt with the tracks are annoying sure but you cant argue with the results of link track over rubber bands or those god awful half rubber ones that need melting together. Can easily model it to look like tiger 131.

A lot of people knock the Airfix Tigers, but. I love them, with some good paintwork and weathering you can turn them into something special.

brilliant model, kept me busy for about six days in total. the track is very fiddly to put together but bear with it, it is worth it in the end

Fun fun fun

This kit is a combination of Airfix and Academy!Instructions a bit sketchy as there are 2 different turrets as well as different air filters.I fortunately know Tiger tanks and figured it outNice touch is the addition of PE parts and separate link tracks

Taking a look on Scalemates this is just the Academy kit in a Airfix box.It's a good build, but I did have some issues with the tracks, so I just bought them aftermarket.With a good amount of work and dedication this can be turned into a very fun project, and you'll end up with a good model to talk about.The price is a bit high, considering you can get the Tamiya Tigers for cheaper but the detailing on the model makes up for it.Apart from the tracks I can't say I had any issues with the kit, it's just a fun build.Overall, if you have some experience with modelling, you can't go wrong with this kit.

It is so nice to be getting into Airfix kits, again... especially a military range in 1/35.. twenty,thirty years ago I enjoyed their 1/32, and 1/72 kits...it's all good.. quality and range fantastic

Good detail on this model, plastics is well cast. Some paint would have been nice.
