Typewriter Ribbon for IBM Wheelwriter typewriters

This works very well in my 35-year-old IBM Wheelwriter.

Exactly what I need for my typewriter...could not find it in office supply stores

I have an IBM typewriter and use it regularly. I am happy Amazon sells parts for this as I know there is not much demand for them and happy I can find what I need at Amazon.

My elderly mother still uses an IBM typewriter for notes and envelopes, and the ribbons have been difficult to locate. Fortunately, I found these. The were perfect, inexpensive, and shipping was free through Prime. Perfect! My mother is ecstatic!

I've purchased this for my '92 year old grandfather's typewriter. He is a minister and still types of sermons on a typewriter. I installed this for him and it works perfectly.

I am not sure if this is the Mylar ribbon I purchased or the other one I purchased. They both had their good points and the deficient points. The Mylar gave a darker print but the print can be lifted from the paper with a piece of Scotch tape. The other ribbon sticks to the paper better but it is not as dark nor as sharply defined a print.

Glad I checked on Amazon. I bought a used typewriter for $5, and it needed a ribbon. I didn’t need a typewriter often, but when I do, now I have one!
