Trader Joe's used to carry these in small plastic tubs in their sweets section. Too bad they decided to discontinue them! They have more fruit to chocolate than the current chocolate-covered cherries they carry and they also have more cherry flavour.I buy these for my parents' younger daughter, usually for her birthday and Christmas. I tend to snack on them too - when she'll share a few morsels and I have to admit, I agree that they're better in every way - even than the ones carried by Harry & David, which, like the ones currently carried by TJ's have more chocolate to fruit. If I'm going to have a chocolate-covered fruit, I want more fruit and just a touch of chocolate. That's the best balance because the fruit's flavour isn't lost and the confection isn't too sweet in general.

I love this candy. I want to put the bag in a tuxe, marry, then gobble it up. If that sounds sick and insane well just lock me up in a padded cell. Before Dilettante did the 2 pack, I bought 2-4 at a time. Sometimes I'd give a bag away, but most times I hide them. I don't know anyone who I have let try them to dislike them. The chocolate is sublime and the dried bing cherry is sweetly tart. The pairing is perfection. This is not a cordial. It's a dragee which means there's no icky liquid. There's just a nice basically tasteless candy outter shell, a chocolate inner shell, and dried fruit. FRUIT! It's healthy! But to be on the safe side, don't share it with the kids. ;p

These cherries are absolutely crazy good. I can't recall what made me first try them several months back, but I'm sure glad I did. The only other chocolate covered cherries I had ever had prior to these were Cella's and Queen Anne. While I'm still a fan of those, there is just something about these Dilettante cherries that are so fabulous and addicting.Like most of the reviews on here already mention, there is a perfect chocolate to cherry ratio, the cherries are plump, tart, and juicy, and the chocolate is smooth and delicious. Try them if you haven't already - you won't be sorry you did.The only downside is the price here on Amazon. They are way cheaper at Walmart.

I can't say enough good things about these! Both the chocolate and the dried cherries inside are great quality. It is milk chocolate but is very rich and compliments the slight tartness of the cherry very well. They are a bit expensive, though, and I found smaller tubs of them at my local Trader Joe's in December for much cheaper, but have not seen them since. I don't mind paying more for these, though, since they are such high quality. I just received my order today. It arrived quickly and the bags are big enough to last me a long time. I would definitely recommend these if you love cherries and chocolate!

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. These are very fresh tasting and delicious. The cherries are big, and then enrolled in chocolate and coating makes them a two or three bite treat. The value of the two large bags for the price is very good. I highly recommend these.

First off... The product was excellent and I will buy them again. Only not in the summer! It is not Dilettante's or the postal service's fault, but it was my rotten luck that they were delivered several hours before I normally check the mail. It was a hot day, and by the time I was able to retrieve the mail the chocolate was a ways into being very melted. Fortunately, (though a sizable portion was melted into a congealed mass) I immediately refrigerated the bags, and the chocolates lost nothing in flavor, though I had to break the mass into chunks. (Albeit, TASTY chunks). The only reason I gave a 4 star rating, was that I wanted to warn people to be careful to be present when it is delivered on a hot day. As for the product.... It is a luscious treat that I would recommend to everyone. However, if you are on a diet, the temptation to eat more than one or two at a time is almost overwhelming!

Long one of my favorite candy treats, I used to get these at Trader Joe's, until they were discontinued there. These are still the same delicious, chewy, creamy-chocolate covered dried cherries I grew to love. Though a bit pricy, they do last a long time because only a few are necessary for a satisfying experience. I tried several other brands while I couldn't find the Dilettante cherries, and none were even remotely as tasty.
