You need two sets of these to fully keep pool vac off ladder.
Does a good job. Much easier to install while in the pool. I'll order a second set to fully protect the ladder.

There has got to be a more elegant solution. We initially bought a pair for guards for each stairs, when in fact you would need to buy at least three pairs to exclude the cleaner from the sides and to a lesser extent the bottom, plus the cleaner can still get in from the front. We end up babysitting the cleaner most of the time to rescue it from the dreaded stairs. If you can use the stairs for their intended purpose there is a way for the cleaner to get stuck.

It's hard to believe the engineers who designed the excellent Polaris pool vacuum could have also designed this inferior product. The connectors were way too small and did not fit around my standard-size pool ladder. I ended up jerry-rigging a solution by tying the panels to the ladder using plastic cable ties. It's working for now...sort of...but someone needs to come up with a better design.

These do the job but there is an opportunity out there for someone to design something better and cheaper
I had to buy 3 sets of these. One set for each side and one for the bottom of the ladder. The screw holes are not threaded so you will need to dry fit your screws before you take them into the pool. I just drilled the holes larger on the curved parts and used plastic ties to secure them to the larger section around my ladder. These do the job but there is an opportunity out there for someone to design something better and cheaper.

Works to keep your robot from getting hung on ladders
You'll want to replace the included screws with stainless bolts, lock washers, and nuts. Works as advertised.

attaching to ladder
product is ok. Would be better if it had a different way of attaching to ladder. The two little plastic "clamps" are not reallly that secure. How about using a rubber strap holding both panels onto the ladder?

Screw won't stay tight
The screw is not staying tight. I only have one on and it won't stay tight.
