I am very happy with this container. It is not some cheap piece of crap.
This container is perfect for my waste oil needs. It is fairly heavy duty and not flimsy container.

Great not only for liquid
This item really served our purposes in storing rice, beans, and other dried goods for long-term storage. At the time of purchase, we caught a good price. The jugs are even strong enough for stacking with lighter items like cereal. With heavier materials you may want to go a different route if stacking is a big deal.

Good quality
The product I recieved is manufactured by Anchor plastics in Canada or Mexico. Not USA. It is not Nalgene thick but good for the price. It is HDPE. Good for water storage and corrosive liquids in my experience. Keep HDPE out of direct sunlight as this plastic degrades quickly when exposed to direct or indirect sunlight in my experience. I am using this to refill batteries, for DI water and sulfuric acid mix.

fabulous tanks
i grow tomatoes and other vegetables outdoors. I add some well water to the carboy with the hydroponic solution and haul it outside. There I top the carboy off. I used to haul around 5 liter buckets, which were prone to tip over. These carboys I can easily carry thru the house without worrying about spilling gallons of water on my wooden floor. I own 3.

These five gallon jugs are great heavy duty
As I said on another review I buy diesel oil in the bulk much cheaper than in a store so when I go to get the oil it comes in a 55 gallon drum now I can’t move a drum that big so I pour the oil into these five gallon containers and bring them home and store them in the garage till in need the oil works out great.

Just what I wanted
Bought four of these to put emergency water in for next time we lose electric. Perfect for my needs. Just need to have water on hand to flush toilets etc since we have a well that needs electric to get the water from. Good price for the size I needed.

Good quality water jug
I was a little concerned with the lack of pics and the description of the one star reviews, but was very happy with the quality and value of the carboy. It is taller than my other one, making it more narrow which is something I like about it.

I am storing oil
I'm storing use motor oil. Until I go to the town garage to recycle it, it seems to work very well.
