The charger for my watch stopped working so I got online to find a replacement. This works perfect and was much less expensive than the OEM charger. After a few weeks using it there have been no issues and I would buy another if needed.

So the pros first. This cable is longer than the standard cable that comes in the box. For the life of me, I could not tell you why Garmin sticks a short cable in the box other than to say they either don't use that cable or they are trying to reduce cost. Heck if I know because it doesn't make sense. (Rant over) This cable is definitely longer easier to charge your watch without going through a lot of trouble. Price. It was pretty cheap. Cons: Initially it was difficult to get the watch snapped into the charger and then it did not want to charge and I had to remove it and snap it back in. I would have to do this 3-4 times. At first I thought the charger was broken, but after jacking with it I was able to get it to charge. Now after many iterations of snapping it into the charger and removing it, it works as advertised. So that leads me to believe that was maybe it needed some kinda "break-in", because now it seems to work just as well as the Garmin branded charger. I have no issues and as soon as I plug it in, I get charging percentage feedback from my watch and it seems to charge at the same rate or very close to the same rate as before. Close enough that I cannot tell the difference. Would I purchase this again? Yes, yes I would. 1) For starters, it works now and I can understand perhaps what the issue initially was. 2) The cable is longer and I don't have to put my watch in some weird location because the Garmin cable is 18" long or whatever ridiculously short length it was. 3) Price. Well, it's not expensive. 4) Amazon. Well you know like I know, Amazon is Amazon.

Misplaced my Garmin charger (I know it's somewhere in the house!) but wanted to get my watch charged, stat! I ordered this charger, it arrived in 2 days. I plugged it into my laptop, attached it to the watch, and my watch was fully charged in 30 minutes. I also received 2 watch face crystals with the charged. Definitely a good value, and great performance.

Misplaced my garmin because I basically stopped wearing it because the battery ran down so quick. Just found it but could not find the charger. Ordered this replacement and guess what? My watch holds it's charge for at least a week! I guess my other charger actually wasn't working. This one works great though!
