Just what she needed
I bought these for a friend and she loved them. She needed to make it look like a rope was going around a cake and this was perfect.

Fondant doesn't pop out of mold will
The fondant doesn't pop out of the mold. I've used other molds with ease but this one didn't seem to let the icing go--perhaps because the designs were so small? Most of the time, I had to pull the fondant out, which badly distorted the design. The pearl one was especially tricky; because I had to pull the icing out, the spheres were not shaped well and there was fondant stuck between them (it wasn't a clean look). I made it work by keeping at it, but it gave me trouble. I wish I'd had enough candy pearls on hand as a backup plan for my daughter's birthday cake.

Works great with clay.
I bought this to use with clay....as a detailed accent. Worked GREAT. Super easy to remove and clean.
