I bought this after the coronvirus lockdown started and I began working from home. I use this to place my 15" 2016 MacBook Pro on my desk next to a 27" monitor, so I can use both screens. The stand elevates the laptop to a comfortable viewing height and keeps it well ventilated, which is really important during extended video calls. (MS Teams can really get your CPU and fan working.)I don't think it would be good if I was not using an external keyboard and mouse. It elevates the laptop's keyboard and places it at an angle, so for me anyway I don't think that would be comfortable. But for when using a dual screen setup, it's perfect.It was easy to assemble and is sturdy enough for the task.

I bought this for my boyfriend because his previous laptop stand broke. He likes this very much, given the appropriate height that will motivate upright siting position. That being said, this is "tall" enough and the angle is just right.Love this. Gotta buy one for myself soon.

Love this stand, it's easy to put together and really sturdy. Got one for me and one for my mom. We love them.

This stand only has like 2 pieces you need to screw together, super easy took like 3 seconds. The grip is super strong I literally can't slide it around on my desk I have to pick it up. 10/10 would recommend.
