These light units are amazing.Initially they feel like they are a cheap plastic thing which won't last...But this is LED technology, very lightweight but super powerful.The packaging is superb, everything included in the box for fitting including electrical connectors which are of very good professional quality.I now have 5 of these light units and 2 of the 5 foot ones.You won't be disappointed, the 1foot ones at 4000 lumens are an unbelievable difference to outdated incandescent lighting,, be warned,, there's a huge difference but in a positive way.

Lightweight, but not too flimsy. Only 4 stars as the attached lead is very short.

Fitted this light up under my stairs cupboard. Wow, super bright for such a small strip light. Very easy to wire up with the click connector supplied.

Easy to fit and a competitive price.

I bought a couple of the smallest size (30cm/1ft) versions to replace a bare bulb for under main stairs to cellar.I was surface mounting them, so had to buy a small choc box to join them to the power and cut a notch in the plastic of the light itself to allow the 6" fly lead to exit the light cleanly. This was simple and straightforward. I fitted 2 of the lights with a separate splitter junction box to replace the previous single wire. I did debate getting the 2ft / 60cm versions but i was trying to keep costs low and in the end it is more than sufficient for a low use area.Install into the clips was simplicity. For the price, these were terrific. The day white was ideal to make this a usable (hanging) space and improve safety on the stairs.The light is super, day white . The best recommendation I can give is that I have a few more bare bulbs to replace in the cellar and will be ordering more of these without hesitation.

On the plus side, for its size this produces a very bright light, and being LED based it is very energy efficient.However, there are too many negatives to be able to recommend the light. Quality control is poor as evidenced by the fact that one of the two lights that I purchased buzzed so loudly that it was unusable (this was clearly a fault as the other light was almost silent). Also, the supplied connector is useless unless you are fixing this onto a hollow wall or ceiling - it is huge and there is no room behind the light fitting to be able to recess it there. They either need to make a deeper recess behind the light, or have the connection built into the ends of the light with a removable panel.In summary, OK for the price, but better alternatives exist.

The light was purchased for an under-stair pantry, for which it is really too bright, but it is neat and economical both in initial cost and power consumption so will keep it there for now. The cable was awkward for me as I did not have the option of flush mounting, but was pretty easy to modify to my requirements.

Provides a good light for reading or anything else I guess. Going strong for several months now.
