My Galaxy Tab A has had battery issues for quite awhile now. The tablet would shut down at 40-45% battery pretty consistently and also it would randomly reset for no apparent reason. Frustrating to say the least. I ordered this battery to remedy the problem and lo and behold it worked! After installing this product the Tab A now works like new. It holds a charge very well and no more random resets. The installation was very easy with the included tools. I would recommend going on youtube and watching a video on how to perform this operation but all in all it was a quick procedure. Great Product!

Overall, this is a good product. The two plastic pry tools that come with it are cheap and both broke when I was trying to pry open my tablet. I happen to have a pry tool from a cell phone repair I did a couple of years ago and used that to get the case open. The battery works great. My tablet used to restart randomly when the battery would go below 80%. With the new battery, I can use the laptop all the way down to 20%. Well worth the money. Might consider buying some tools though.

Fits correctly. So far it’s holding charge and would take a good while to die. Plus arrived on time. Will give an update in due time.

Fit and works and charges perfectly. Only time will tell if it lasts longer than oem battery.

Battery works great, however the tools sent with it are useless. I broke ever one of the plastic pieces and damaged the sides of my tablet.

Several years ago, my wife's tablet started to have difficulty charging and we assumed it was a problem with the port, as it would only charge when plugged in at certain angles. We put it in storage, always planning on taking it to get repaired "eventually." Then one day, the thought occurred to us to actually look at some YouTube videos of what a bad port would look like and we decided it was more likely a problem with the battery. We found this battery replacement kit and decided the price was right that we would not feel it had been a waste if the tablet still did not work. The tools provided to open the tablet case were helpful, even though it necessitated a little more force than the help video suggested. Also the original battery had some strong adhesive that had to be overcome to remove it. Nevertheless, once the switch was made, the tablet roared back to life. We also discovered that the USB charger adapter/cable - not the port - was part of the problem, so we switched it out for a new cable and have not had any trouble since then (nearly six months now).

This battery worked very good for about 2 months, charged quickly and lasted longer than previous batteries I've tried. In the third month the problems started, it would take hours to fully charge and the charge didn't last long, then sometimes it would slowly charge, somtimes take days just to get to 25% to no charge at all.

Worked for four months and then failed.
