Amazing trashy china
This is possibly the best sounding china cymbal I’ve played for the money. It’s quick to respond with dark trashy tone and minimal overtones. Virtually no sustain. It’s in and out of the mix. Just like a china should be. For metal, there is no better china for this price. Also make a great stack option. 5 stars.

Loud as it should be
Great sound. Complements the rest of my kit well.

Great sound! Favorite piece on my set.
Marks up a bit easier than traditional brass.

Amazing
The sound that comes from this cymbal is stunning. I use it for accent crashes during songs and at the end of songs to slowly decay. It cuts through the mix like a buzzsaw. I just ordered the 18" version of this awesome cymbal.

Great for the price
If you only use one China I would go with the 18 since this one has pretty much no sustain. Great for fills and accents but not a big sound.-edit-This thing developed a crack pretty fast by the bigger hole going up to the bell. I was worried about this because these holy cymbals do crack a lot easier :/

Be careful with the 16" cymbal
I'm a big fan of Meinl cymbals. I've recently started replacing my old Zildjian cymbals with Meinl cymbals over these past 10 months. I currently have an 18" trash china as well. I've noticed that after playing with the 16" china for a bit, pretty much for accents in the music, I saw that the cymbal started to bend from one side. The 18" china I I use a lot, but has proven to keep it's shape. The "16 on the other hand, has been an eyesore to see lately. I'm not a heavy hitter either. My style of music does not require me to put a severe beating on my gear. Just sad that the cymbal looks defected.
