Nice design...much cheaper than its Digipower twin
Works great but I wore out a Digipower version of this device travelling to not so hospitable locations. The Digipower version worked great for about two years--as good as one might expect. I needed a new one and found this one on Amazon. It seemed the same and best I can tell its exactly like the Digipower version for 40% of the price. I am looking at them both on my desk right now and the only difference is the logo--this one doesn't say Digipower.Spend more if you want, but you can buy two of these for one of the Digipower version.

Worked throughout China and in Bangkok, Thailand
I used the adapter on a three week trip to numerous cities in China and to Bangkok Thailand. It worked well throughout the trip. I primarily used it to charge my iPhone via the USB port. It is compact and lightweight, so it's easy to carry. It only has three types of prongs - the typical US 2 prong plug, a plug with two round prongs typical of those seen in Europe, and a three prong plug with two metal rectangular prongs and one plastic. Most of the hotel rooms in China had outlets in both the round and three prong configurations.

Four problems make it junk
Got it just in time for a trip to London.First problem: A three-pronged USA plug is a VERY tight fit to jam in the adapter outlet. On close inspection, the distance from the ground plug hole to the slots for the power prongs is just too short. Have to jam it in there!A bother but I figured the plastic would eventually wear enough that it would work fine.Second problem: I plugged in my iPhone charging cord to juice up the battery. And the touch screen on the phone got all weird and insensitive. I couldn't even slide to unlock! I pulled the USB plug out of this adapter and, poof, the touch screen worked fine.A bigger bother. I just won't charge my phone with that port.Third problem: On the end of the third day with the adapter I had no power through my three-pronged cord. None. Inserted a two-pronged plug and all was fine. Inserted (jammed, see first problem) the three-pronged one again to hear and see sparks inside the adapter.A huge bother. At least I have a way to use a two-pronged plug to charge my laptop with the thing.Fourth problem: So, I can't charge my phone with the USB port but I should be able to charge my extra battery. It doesn't have a touch screen. I plugged in the battery and the lights showed charging state. Great! At this point my laptop is also plugged into the adapter with the two-pronged plug (see third problem). I attempted to move my mouse with the touch pad on the laptop and found it weird and flaky just like my phone screen was (see second problem). I pulled the USB cord to my charging external battery out of the USB port and immediately my touchpad worked as normal. Wha?Conclusion: I need to charge my devices tonight so I have my laptop plugged into the adapter with the two-pronged plug (see second problem) and am using the USB ports on my laptop charge my phone (see first problem) and my external battery (see fourth problem). Tomorrow I'll be shopping for a replacement adapter here in London because I don't trust this adapter to work longer than one more night before frying one of my devices. And that's an unacceptable problem!

Works, but...
A generally good compact design. However, the spring loaded internal clip has the tendency to push some of my plugs out. The result is no current flow to the plug. I remedied the problem by strapping the plugs to the plug-in with rubber bands to make it work.Aside from this one flaw, I had no other issues.

Compact and works ok, many of my items kept coming unplugged.
Works but I found some of my items kept falling out, it was not very tight fit, kind of felt cheap but did have all the connectors I needed. The USB port charging is a nice addition for sure, I found myself using that for my cell phone as it never fell out that way.

Handy adapter
Three months after I purchased this adapter, I had a chance to use it. I bought a German camera which has a charger with a European plug. It does not fit in our USA inlets. This adapter came in handy and worked like a charm. I was so glad to have made this purchase. I am sure this will also serve me when I travel to Europe this December.

Great helper!
I used my adapter in London for a week. It was very helpful and useful. However, there were times it did not work, but I think the problems were with the outlets, not the adapter, because it would work in some outlets but not others in my room.

This one's simple, but offers a lot!
Wow - for a novice like me, this was a snap to use! It travels we'll, and with the USB cable provided, I could charge my phone AND camera overnight. Great value for the price!
