Perfect Case for my Need, with Typical (Exceptional) Quality!
I've been a huge fan of Pelican cases for a long time, and this case is no exception. I reserve Pelican cases for the most sensitive and expensive items I own, and I recently bought a Labradar Ballistic Chronograph. Being orange, I wanted to find a case that would work with it and noticed that Pelican makes orange cases. I typically buy the "Storm" cases, versus the "Protector" case that this is. I think I prefer the storm case's latches and lightness, however this case is built like a tank, and I have 100% confidence that this will hold up to absolutely anything I can put it through and then some. I buy Pelican because I want the best; great cases like this are an investment/insurance for whatever you place inside. One note on the foam...This case comes with "Pick and Pluck" foam. I'm not personally a fan of it. I have built my own hot wire cutter (You can find DIY articles and videos online that show how to do this) - This allows me to cut the foam precisely how I like it, instead of having to pluck hundreds of blocks out. Maybe you will prefer the pick and pluck, but it's not for me. I had some replacement foam that I had bought for a previous project that I was able to cut to size for this case, so I went ahead with that rather than the foam that came with the case. If you are looking to build your own hot wire cutter, all you need is some stainless steel wire (It must be stainless steel due to high internal resistance) - this is easily found at a "big box" store like Home Depot, Lowe's, or Menards, or many grocery stores in their hardware section...the easiest way to get it is find stainless steel picture hanging wire. It usually comes in strands of 5-7 wires coiled...just separate them out, and it's the perfect thickness for cutting foam. I keep old electronic parts when I dispose of old things I have, and somewhere along the way (I think my old furnace) had a 24v AC transformer, rated for 40VA. This was perfect, and I recommend AC transformers vs. DC because AC transformers allow you to use a typical cheap dimmer switch/wheel to adjust the heat the wire is at. I've found that 1 amp of current at 24V is the perfect amount for one of these picture hanging wire strands to cut the foam that comes in Pelican cases. I also made a hot wire thickness planer using the same parts, and with these two simple tools, I can cut foam out however I want with great accuracy and precision. All of my gun cases, etc, are cut in this manner. I'm happy to share more details with anyone that would like them, just reply in the comments!

The Golden Standard of Cases
I've purchased 3 Pelican 1520 Cases over a several year period to protect my camera/film gear (Canon 7D DSLR, AXH1 & GL2) and have total confidence in them. The are sturdy and I used them to sit on all the time without any worry about damaging the fragile equipment inside. It starts to rain, no worries. Taking it on a plane, piece of cake. Working in the film industry I see Pelicans quite often and have never had a problem with a single one. The one thing that buyers should be aware of is the Foam Insert vs Padded Dividers. The Foam Inserts allow for very customizable padding and work wonderful for items that you're going to take out at the beginning of the day and put back in a the end. If you're planning on constantly taking items in and out of the case on a regular base (like you do on a film set) then the Padded Dividers would likely hold up a bit better in the long run. In any case (haha, pun), you cannot go wrong with purchasing a Pelican. It will hold up to any job and protect your stuff!

Great peace of mind when traveling
This case gives you the ultimate in peace-of-mind when traveling: you know your stuff is taken care of. Built better than a Timex watch (it takes a lickin'...) If you have to check your equipment as baggage (I use mine for photography lenses and cameras and acessories), I don't think you will find anything that protects your stuff better than this. I have found no flaws with this case in over a year of use. The foam is spectacular - 1 cm square pieces of foam, that you "pluck" to creata custom fit for whatever you have inside. No banging around, just a good, snug fit. And if you screw it up, simply spray aerosol adhesive where required, and "rebuild" the foam (so don't throw the plucked pieces away!) This is very useful if your equipment size changes, or has to be reconfigured. This case will also fit as a carry-on, another plus. Good stuff. Two thumbs up and a third one if I had it.

Sound Recorder kit case
Love Pelican Cases. My first was a 1690 I bought for a 3 month bivouac. Customized it with a external waterproof AC plug and internal 5 vdc USB charging ports. Worked great as a changing seat, card table, charging station, etc. This 1520 has all the same hallmarks of durability to withstand anything you can through against it. I upgraded my sound recording kit bag from a Maxpedition Noatak Gearslinger to this when I eventually ran out of space. Now I feel much more comfortable moving my audio gear around and everything is much easier to find. Highly recommend.

Top quality case to take my PS4 on the road. 4.5 stars
Sometimes I work away from home for long periods of time and I was looking for a carrying case for a PS4 so I can keep myself entertained when I am away. Having used Pelican cases for work, I knew what to expect in terms of quality. This case is tough and well-made, in addition to being waterproof and easy to open/close. It is a bit bigger than I expected it would be, which for me is fine as it gives me some extra space for miscellaneous cords and controllers. The foam is also good quality and can be cut or pulled out to fit what specifically you are storing. One minor complaint is that the case is a bit heavy, considering how durable it is, I don’t consider a big deal. The other is a bit expensive at regular price. I grabbed this here after it went on sale for 86 bucks. The only thing really missing would be a built-in locking mechanism, but there are two loops on each end that you can put a padlock on. I would also say make sure you are buying from an authorized Pelican seller so to ensure you get a quality made case. The best thing about the Pelican brand is the lifetime warranty on their cases. With that being said, even with us banging and throwing them around, I have never seen any of the ones we use for work ever fail. This is a top quality hard shell case with a lifetime warranty that should protect anything you throw in it. 4.5 stars

海外の空港で手荒い扱いを受け傷だらけになりましたが中の精密品は無事でした。買って良かったです。

It's a pelican case. It's tough as nails on the outside and foamy and protective on the inside. In the words of Hulk Hogan "Anything less would be uncivilized!"
