First ever griddle. 10/10
Great griddle. Cooks very fast and is easy to set up. It's also somewhat portable if you have a big enough car/truck. The instructions aren't too hard but if it's your first time ever using anything like this you do have to be careful about maintaining it since it can rust like any cast-iron skillets. It looks really nice and so far my family has loved it ever since I got it for them!

This Was A Perfect Wedding Gift
This was an excellent purchase for us. We got it for my nephew's wedding. He says he uses it almost every night (They live in Palmetto, FL). He said it took some patience to assemble, but it works perfectly and cleans easily. Very sturdy. Moves easily. The most appealing aspect is that there is no dripping through a grate like in traditional grills. You can purchase a scraping tool, and just use a water spray bottle and some paper towels. Always dry completely and rub a light coating of avocado oil on the grill. Make sure you get the corners.

Blackstone
I bought this as a gift for my kids father for his birthday. The heat distribution is perfect all the way across the board. Long as you buy the products to clean and season the grill, it will not become sticky and disgusting. The weight was a little heavy to carry by yourself but somehow manage to get it done. It was worth the money and has multiple function to be able to use it for. I would highly recommend for a quality flat top. 10/10

The Griddle Is Outstanding, Probably Won't Use My Grill Much Anymore
My 28" Blackstone griddle arrived 5 days early. I was so excited when I got home and saw it that I drug the box in to the house and assembled it in the living room.CONS:1. The box was a disaster. It was 2/3 open at one end, beaten and torn at every corner, plastic straps were very loose, and part of the label was missing. Needless to say, I was expecting missing parts and a damaged griddle. I debated opening it for 15 minutes since I felt I should probably return it before opening because I knew I couldn't repack it in the same box. I decided to cross my fingers for luck then unpack it and take lots of photos so I could repack it if necessary.PROS:1. It was packed so we'll that it all held together with no dents, dings, or missing parts despite the exterior box.Assembly instructions suggested 2 people. I am a single 68 year old woman who is NOT physically fit yet I was able to assemble it all by myself in under 75 minutes. Good instructions with diagrams made this one of the simplest assemblies I've had - much easier than assembling boxed furniture!2. I read several articles and watched videos on how to season a Blackstone griddle. I'm experienced with cast iron cookware so I'm not a virgin seasoner but wanted expert advice particular for the brand. There's some debate over type of oil to use for seasoning so I opted to buy the Blackstone Griddle Seasoning and Conditioner. I really don't think that was necessary; any high smoke point vegetable oil will work. Canola oil is readily available and the least expensive. I seasoned the griddle 4 times.3. My first cook was 2lbs of thick sliced pepper bacon, my second was 4 smash burgers which were delicious! Controlling the temp will take some practice, primarily learning the hotter and cooler sections of the griddle. To help me while I'm still on training wheels, I bought an infrared thermometer gun. However, when cooking the 2lbs of bacon it was easy to see the slight temperature differences because the degree of doneness was obvious. Despite slight temperature differences, there was only a 2 minute difference in cook time between the strips around the very edge versus the rest of the flat top.3. The griddle should be as level as possible when seasoning or griddling. Mine is set on an uneven brick patio so I have a cheap level I keep with it along with a dozen small squares of cardboard to put under the legs or wheels to make it level. Fortunately, my 28" griddle is light enough to easily slip as few or as many cardboard squares under it as needed. All in all, I would highly recommend the Blackstone griddle to anyone even remotely interested in backyard cooking. I also own an Oklahoma Joe's Longhorn Combo smoker/grill (saucepan burner, propane chamber, charcoal chamber, and offset smoker) which I like a lot, but if I'm honest, it probably won't get much use now that I have the griddle. Several foods can be cooked on a grill but almost everything can cooked on a flat top griddle.

Great griddle for family cooking — just a slight learning curve
I’ve been wanting a griddle for a long time, and when my stepson mentioned how much he loved using one at his weekend job (making Philly cheesesteaks and burgers at the ballfields), I knew it was time to finally pull the trigger. After a lot of research, we chose this Blackstone because it had great reviews, an integrated hood, and a large enough cooking surface for our family of seven. It’s been a great addition. Watching all those “POV Dad” videos on Instagram had me dreaming about big weekend breakfasts and summer BBQs — and this griddle absolutely delivers on that vibe. The two burners give enough space to handle a lot of food at once. Plus, assembly was incredibly easy — my 14-year-old stepdaughter put it together by herself in about 20 minutes! The only downside (and why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5) is that it cools down faster than I expected. When searing steaks, I sometimes have to move them around to keep the heat up for a good crust. Maybe it’s user error or just part of the learning curve with a flat top, but it was a little disappointing at first.Overall, though, this griddle has been a game-changer for our family meals. If you’re thinking about getting one, I highly recommend it — just be ready to practice a little to really master the heat zones.
