I think this is the same cleaner they sell for the car filters. It worked great. I rinsed the filter first and it didn't look that clean with just water. Sprayed this on there and let sit for 3 minutes as the instructions said and it came really clean after. Looked brand new. I would recommend buying this with the K&N home air filters.

K&N Filters (in my opinion) are the Best, and this K&N Cleaner works EXACTLY AS EXPECTED on my HVAC LIFETIME Home Furnace Filter. Works like a charm. This size bottle lasts a long time. Cleans filter perfectly, monthly, without a problem. A++++. Of Course, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!No unpleasant smell either, when cleaned in the house/bathroom. Great Value!

Going to have to find an alternative I really like this stuff but half the bottle is in the plastic wrap they pack it in. Buying 1 at a time you just can’t protect it from spilling. If you bought a case it would be fine but you don’t use it enough 1 bottle last me over a year it’s good stuff

It's THE cleaner for THE filter. K&N Home and Auto inside air filters.If it's hot where you are, the product may arrive outside the bottle. Mine arrived with tape on the neck and sealed in a plastic bag in a box. It was hot and it was wet but not emptied.

This is the best cleaner for K&N filters hands down. Does the job very well at cleaning the filter.

If you have a K&N washable filter, you need this product. I had washed with water only a few times. This brought out much more dirt and dust than water would. I would recommend wearing a mask while spraying and being in a well ventilated area. Product smell acidic.
