I used this book as a textbook for a 6th grade religious school unit on "Repairing the World". It was the perfect book to demonstrate to these students that even kids their age can make a difference. I used additional videos and news reports to supplement the book.

This book for upper elementary/middle school readers profiles 45 young people who have taken action to help protect the environment. Nice truly global selection of included kids whose projects are described in short interviews as well as brief descriptions. Highly readable.
