This is NOT an aftershave. I just want to point that out. It is a balm and IMO you NEED both. I apply this after I use a good aftershave. Just applying this doesn't help me with razor bumps. The aftershave does that by drying out and firming the affected area. What this does a great job at is moisturizing your skin after applying the aftershave. It does have a cooling effect and the scent is great as well. Nice and fresh and not overpowering as to interfere with you cologne. If used correctly I think this is a great product and an amazing value for the money.

I have been using this post shave balm for over 20 years, daily. It bills itself as post shave balm and indeed that’s why I started using it so many years ago. Many years ago I was in the Army and had to shave every single day for almost a decade so my face took a beating. This balm has been the perfect shave companion and is easily purchased and is not too expensive at all. Now that I’m out of the Service I don’t shave every day but I use this as a daily face moisturizer. I truly can’t go a day without it works so well. It has zero scent to it so it won’t interfere with any cologne you might wear. There is no harsh burning alcohol in here and it pours so smooth from the bottle I hesitate to even call it a balm; maybe a liquid cream? I’ve put this three pack on Amazon auto-ship so I never even have to worry about being without it. Truly the best. Very highly recommended! I hope this review was helpful to you, cheers!

Now every time I walk past an alpaca, it spits on the ground in envy. And I get it. I wouldn’t want to stand next to this level of smooth, either.
