Elegant Pashmina Scarf Wrap Shawl Stole

I conducted a bit of an experiment with two different types (and prices) of Pashminas on Amazon. Initially I'd ordered three of these:78" x 28" Eco-Friendly Bamboo Rayon Soft Solid Pashmina Shawl / Wrap / Stole: one in baby blue, one in teal and one in coral. They were priced at $15.99 each and offered with Amazon Prime.Then I decided what the heck, I'll order the less expensive option that also offers a wide variety of colors, strong reviews and is half the price of the first three:Elegant PASHMINA SCARF WRAP SHAWL STOLE : I ordered silver, which is more of a steel grey and the price was $7.33 and also available through Amazon Prime.All four arrived in the same package today and here are my findings:The less expensive Elegant PASHMINA SCARF WRAP SHAWL STOLE is every bit as nice as the more expensive Eco-Friendly Bamboo Rayon Soft Solid Pashmina Shawl / Wrap / Stole. It doesn't have the sheen that the Bamboo Rayon "Pashminas" have, but that is actually an advantage when considering that they can slip and slide off one's shoulders. It is also the only one of the four with a label that says "Pashmina" -- the authenticity of which is debatable when considering the low price and because all of them were made in China where truth-telling about such things isn't exactly the norm. The weave on this pashmina isn't as tight as the other three, but it's still plenty nice enough.The advantages of the more expensive Bamboo Rayon are only threefold: the colors are prettier with the aforementioned sheen, the weave is tighter and they are 6" longer. I like a longer Pashmina and in fact have one from World Market that's perfect and over 84" long. It drapes beautifully, but it was $30.So, if you're trying to decide between the less expensive Elegant PASHMINA SCARF WRAP SHAWL STOLE at $7.33 or the Eco-Friendly Bamboo Rayon Soft Solid Pashmina Shawl / Wrap / Stole at $15.99, the good news is you can't go wrong with either. But if you can find a color you like in the less expensive one and don't mind that it's a bit shorter, then I'd suggest going for it and saving yourself a bit of money (or perhaps buy two!).

I looked everywhere for a blue like this. It is such a rare beautiful blue, very much a Royal Blue.I expected to be disappointed and that it’s color would be muted like the others I tried on Amazon, but it was exactly what I kept searching for.

I bought this scarf actually to use as a head scarf for halloween I was mama oldie from the princess and the frog (daughters Idea)..lol..and It did it's job, I love the scarf and I can use it in many different ways, so I plan on buying alot of these this christmas for the family because my sister and mother just adored it. So they'll be getting 1 wrapped up with a pretty bow..lol..The Material is more of a cotton feel to it..and it is very long and wide..I'm about 5"6 and the length is from head to toe and a lil beyond..The color is very vibrant I ordered this in Black, purple, blue, white, and several more colors and they are as pictured...However a few did come with a Pashmina logal on it..I just cut it off..because I didn't want it to show..so this is a good buy, you will enjoy it

My family has purchased many of these scarves, mostly for my wife, and recently two for our teenage daughter's birthday. They are thin, yes, yet very soft and the colors are exactly as they look online. If you are looking for a thick, higher quality scarf, then purchase a more expensive scarf. My wife has even machine washed them with woolite, hung them to dry, and they still retain the colors and have not developed runs. The colors do not bleed in the wash, as many of the cheap scarves do that she has purchased over the years. They are by no means transparent, as another reviewer stated, but they are thin. Our daughter began borrowing them, so we purchased two for her as well, and we all know how particular teenagers are! They look classy worn as a scarf over even a simple t-shirt. Finally, the package was received at our home a day or two before expected. We highly recommend this product, the price point for the quality makes this a really great deal.

The feel of this scarf is very luxurious. I was a little worried when I read some of the reviews criticizing the fabric content, so if that concerns you too, I wouldn't worry about that. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the color was not what I was expecting. I was expecting it to be a little lighter (I might call this light gray rather than silver), but I am giving it as a gift, so for the recipient, the color may be just fine. If you are looking for a nice scarf for yourself, or to give as a gift, this one can't be beat! This is a great scarf for the price!

The scarf is pretty. I ordered 6. Only one had a defective place where I needed to return it. I had to request a return label TWICE and when I finally got label it says I must pay the return shipping charges!!Big deception!!! They advertise the scarf for $5.00 so I bought 6. One was shipped separately and other 5 together. Even though shipped together they charged me $2.99 shipping on each scarf! I e-mail seller about it and never got response back. And now they're telling me I have to pay shipping on return of defective scarf!!?
