Royal & Langnickel Azure, 13pc Dual-Tip, Alcohol Based Marker Set, Includes - 12 Markers & 1 Blender, Basic Colors

This review is based on my first impression. I haven't drawn a full picture with them yet, however I am fairly certain my opinions won't change much.TL;DR version: I have seen higher reviewed alcohol markers on Amazon that I plan on purchasing and trying.Pros:1. Color saturation is amazing. The colors you get in this pack are great. The 2 browns you get are perfect for darker skin tones.2. The blender works pretty well almost always.3. They feel natural to use. I thought the triangle shape would be difficult but I was mistaken.4. They don't tear up the paper when you go over the same spot multiple times.Cons:1. The color selection seems a little off. The lighter brown is still very dark leaving no tan or peach for sand, many animals, lighter skin tones, etc.2. When trying to blend the lighter and darker green with the blending marker it leaves a strange line of pigment on the page.3. They are very liquid. They leave great color on the page however bleed excessively. While I tested this in my cheap sketchbook so i expected some bleed, this is almost unworkable. There are places they bled a few mm outside of the lines. They also went through 3 pages. 3! This sketchbook is cheap, but not that cheap.4. The caps don't match the colors. I expected this a bit, most markers don't seem to, but some of the colors are quite different.

Pros: can accomplish even coverage with no streaks. I like the Triangle shape, it’s easy and comfortable to hold. Vibrant colors, almost exact matches to cap.Cons: The color name and number is only on the cap and not the barrel. Maybe it’s just me and I’m not using them properly but they do not blend... at all. I can somewhat get the orange and yellow with a lot of work but nothing else blends. Blender and markers are nice and juicy, I just can’t get it. The main reason I bought them was for the blending.Neutral: they’re alcohol base and permanent so be aware that they do bleed through paper. And depending on what paper you use, they can potentially feather.I’m no pro so take of this what you will.

Very nice markers! I did however buy these from my local Walmart for $10 so I’m not sure I would’ve payed the $26 for them on amazon HOWEVER I will definitely be rebuying when they run out whether they be $10 or $26 they’re super easy to work with and have an amazing color pay off although some of the colors came off much darker then I had anticipated but that could just be my choice of paper.

I really like these markers. The colors are good and they're very juicy without too much saturation. I have loads and loads of different alcohol-based markers, but I still reach for these when I color. The brown 5 is my absolute favorite and their triangular shape keeps them from rolling off my desk and makes them comfortable to color with. I'm definitely looking at buying all the colors Azure by Royal and Langnickel offers!

Great pens, good price, but the wrong set of colours came
