I bought this lava lamp to replace one I broke. The old one was crystal clear. Kind of boring. This one's got a cool, new "murky" look! It looks like it has algae growing in it! I would've paid extra had I known it was going to look like this! And guess what! The murkiness never goes away!! Even if you inadvertently read the instructions and perform the steps the manufacturer recommends to remove the murkiness!! It's permanent, folks!! I suspect this feature was found serendipitously thru a problematic manufacturing process! And it appears they have no way to go back!! Oh well... It's only our gain! I highly recommend buying this item! You'll love it!

The lamp came well packaged. I got it home put it together and turned it on waiting for the lava to melt. It’s takes about three hours to four the first time turning on before it gets going well. I’m happy with it. It’s a little cloudy but it seem like it getting clearer since it’s been on. It’s been 40 years since I have had a lava lamp . My first lava lamp was in 1970’s . I have the green wax / blue and I also have the blue water / purple wax both are on and working great. I feel like I’m back in time back in the 70’s when days were a lot cooler. And worry free..

Looks nice but not quite powerful enough for my cold room, it was moving really slow after many hours of it being on so I gifted it to a friend who is enjoying it.

I read the bad reviews on here and none of them really had any detailed negative experience. So here is mine which will hopefully let someone know the risk that you will be exposed to when purchasing one of these.*I also have another lava lamp that works for a good comparison to eliminate any mistakes on my part.*Upon opening the box with the lamp in it I was created with some "how to use" instructions. It says that it could take up to 4-6 hours to work. That immediately let me know that some people giving bad reviews on here weren't patient because I read a lot of them saying that they only turned it on for 2.The first time I turned it on (with a red one I have at the *same time* - it turned into one of those frozen statue looking blobs after about 2.5 hours (that scared me from seeing that issue in the reviews). I then proceeded to let it continue heating based on the instructions. That around the 6 hour mark it actually had become more fluid and was two giant blobs that wouldn't really float up. It was a valiant effort though for the lava lamp; I will give it that at least.At this point I have tried to use it 5 times. Each time I have left it running for a minimum of 8 hours each night and check it before I sleep and in the morning. The lamp has a giant blob at the bottom that doesn't move but looks a like it wants to but the surface tension and the density of the liquid is too high and makes it sit tight right at the bottom of the lamp. Then there is a little tiny bit that has somehow managed to float to the top (must have done it while I was sleeping because I have not recorded any movement). Anyways....it's a dud. I wish it worked. I will be returning it. I really did give it a fair chance.I think I will find one that a shop has that is working and offer them money for it haha.****The two blue lamp photos are of my chance that I gave the lamp to redeem itself (at the eight hour mark after being turned on). One photo shows the dud and the lamp that works and both were turned on at the same time.

For a child's birthday. They loved it. And it looks pretty cool, too.

The media could not be loaded. I have had this product for quite some time now. Some people say that it was good for the first day and then the the inside was deformed and didn't work anymore. I just want to say, even though that happens it just needs time to warm up again and then it is back to normal. I do wish it didn't take so long to heat up, but that factor really doesn't ruin my opinion of it. I really like this product and I use it every night. The lighting is bright and the colors are vibrant. I would recommend to anyone!As a note, at the time I recorded this clip it was still warming up. Once it is fully heated it moves more frequently.

Leí muchos comentarios, estaba muy indeciso y la verdad es cuestión de suerte, pedí 2 unidades, el embalaje de las 2 era perfecto, cajas Selladas y sin problemas, al momento de encender las 2 lámparas me di cuenta que una tenía el agua un poco más sucia que la otra, tal vez en el transporte se agitó un poco, lo cierto es que la que sale en las fotos es la que tenía el agua clara y fluye perfectamente, después de 2 horas la primera vez comenzó a fluir solo se paciente, en los siguientes usos se activará mucho más rápido, por el precio la recomiendo mucho, es muy bonita y le da un toque especial al espacio donde se ubique. La del líquido un poco más turbio estuve consultando y con el uso va aclarando de a poco, pero también funciona sin problemas.
