I liked the smooth workmanship on these tools. This makes the wooden tools pleasant to hold and makes cleaner lines on the clay. I am using these to sculpt clay. The select of tools is amazing. Generally I use B-mix, but these are fine for any type of clay.

My granddaughter loves to make things from clay and these tools help her with her craft. She loved the set!

Great tool set for the money. A couple of the tools were a little off though. The needle came out of the needle tool on the first day and one of the nibs on one of the cleaner tools isn't all the way attached, making it hard to use. But the company seems very customer service oriented and I suspect that if I contacted them, they'd rectify this. I didn't bother because I'm new and still learning and there is a second needle tool in this set. It's really a very good deal compared to getting less than half these tools for $20 at the studio where I'm learning. Definitely try these as a starter set.

These are really great for modeling wax features for restorative arts class. There is so much here. You will find your favorites. For me, the wire is indispensable for cutting off large hunks from the Pierce chub o’ wax. The silicone wedge brush is surprisingly useful for smoothing wax and forming sulci. The silicone point brushes are good for the external auditory meatus. The ball bearing tools are indispensable for the helix and other portions of the ear. The scoops are great for removing wax from the nasal passages. The thin flat metal piece is indispensable (underlined) for attaching the ears to the armature and getting the thickness and projection just right. I use the wood wedges every now and again for getting into nooks and clearing out wax. You’ll find your favorites. My professor said you don’t really need this kit, but I honestly don’t know how I would do without it. It’s a cheap kit and will really give you an edge in your practice.

These tools are very nice for the price I got them. They are also pretty sharp so be careful.

I just started a ceramics class and this kit has so many tools to use while working with clay. Sturdy and I haven't used all tools yet. Great buy.

This is a great range of tools! There is a varied range of type and size, you couldn't ask for more😃
