Reliable purchase
Always tend to purchase these batteries. Good output and never had one that leaked.

Brilliant batteries.
I buy these batteries because of their longevity. My two teenage kids both use these in their VR hand controllers and Xbox One controllers. The batteries last for ages (even with heavy use) and the quantity means they always have some at hand when needed.Great value compared to other brands and I would definitely recommend them.

Very good and long lasting batteries. Value for money.
I have ordered these batteries again because I was impressed on how long they last and value for money. They last a very long time in low power items like remote controls for TV's. They last in excess of 5 hours in an Xbox One wireless controller and a long time in a drone remote control. The batteries came securely packaged and in flat packets of 10 which makes them easy to store.

value and work as intended
great pricing, delivery was quick, packaged very well, run as long as other big brands, storage life is pretty decent too, cant fault, just store in good dry storage and you will have good batteries to hand anytime you need some.

How much power do you actually get?
Wouldn't it be great to actually have a rating of the capacity? I've tried these in several devices and been surprised by them running out sooner than the previous other brand batteries. Low battery warnings on others. Probably won't be buying again. They are sold as "Leak Proof" which is a plus.I feel the need to update my review. I initially rated these as 3* but I'm going to update that to 5*. The devices I had issues with have been running perfectly for ages now on these batteries. A blood pressure monitor and a kitchen waste bin with an electronic lid. I can't explain why the first batteries installed didn't last well but the second set are working beyond expectations.I will definitely buy these again!

What are we paying for?
The time is long overdue for battery manufacturers to set, or be forced to set, a common standard for the quality and power rating of dry non-rechargeable batteries. A simple 1 to 5 rating would suffice. All use a deliberately bewildering and meaningless range of names for these products which give no indication of the actual power reserve, so that it is impossible to know what one is really buying. In this case, the batteries were described as Varta Industrial but are marked 'Power on Demand' (whatever that is supposed to mean). To be fair, this is shown on the product photo.I suppose these batteries, with their ridiculous slogan, will be better than poundshop ones, but only time will tell.Update March 2020:I tried these batteries in a portable DAB radio which has a very consistent pattern of use, is heavy on batteries, and in which I had previously been using AmazonBasic batteries. It has a 'battery low' warning indicator. In this admittedly rough-and-ready test of power reserve they performed no better than the AmazonBasic batteries, in fact they may even have done less well, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. My rating is downgraded to three stars.Prices per cell:AmazonBasic 21pVarta Industrial 'Power on Demand': 30p
