KS Choi Corp Infrared Heat Lamp 110V with Bulb Made in Korea

Im an acupuncturist and use infrared lamps with almost every treatment. I prefer the red infrared ones but succumbed to a TDP double-headed lamp a couple of years ago. Within a few weeks, one head stopped working and 2 years after purchasing, the other went out. That's too soon for me, and they notoriously break often. I never wanted to go back to a TDP again. My first infrared lasted 10 years, my other one is going over 10 years now, so I got this one to stick with the more reliable infrared lamps. It was easy to set up. I had it working within 10 minutes of opening the box, and it does exactly what it's supposed to. It makes no noise (some of them tick annoyingly), heats immediately, is adjustable. It's quite lightweight which is awesome yet stable on its base. I will be purchasing another next month for my other treatment room.

It’s the best quality infrared. It’s sturdy and reliable.It’s made in Korea whereas most of others are from China.

I like this light, it has worked well, however the knob that tightens the shaft allowing it to raise or lower just broke when I was working. The top of the light came out and busted my lip before falling to the floor. Luckily it didn't hit my client! The knob is plastic and should be metal.Otherwise this has been a great light and my clients love it.

I use this heat lamp in my acupuncture clinic. I have 2 treatment rooms, and I had this one in Room 1, a regular TDP lamp in Room 2. All of my patients say they like the heat lamp in Room 1 (this one). There is sufficient heat, and a remote is good, but I don’t use it. I sometimes use the timer, but I prefer turning on/off manually. It comes on and heats up right away. I bought a second one and replaced my 6-year-old TDP lamp. With all heating units, we have to be careful not to put it too close to the patient’s skin (about 18 inches is good), or it will cause a burn injury. Patients seem very relaxed when they are under this lamp with needles in place.I am satisfied with this lamp.

I did not give the one that I brought a good rating. I had to returned it because the timer would not stay on It had a defect. My friend has one, and it works perfectly. I need to reorder one.

This lamp is for my acupuncture office. I've used a TDP lamp previously, which was definitely not perfect. When it expired after three years, it was time to find something else. I ordered this lamp based on the reviews. However, I was a little worried at first when the box arrived beat up. The lamp inside did not have a lot of protection, just a sheet of bubble wrap held on with twist ties in three places. There also wasn't much to the set up instructions, but it turned out to be very simple and straight forward. The lamp is easier to roll than my previous TDP lamp. It seems very solid and the placement of the lamp head is very secure. I am very happy with the warmth provided by the lamp. The heat is very pleasant even with the lamp head 18 inches from the patient. I hope this lasts and will provide an updated review if things change.

Wish it was able to be left on longer than 30 minutes. The timer says 60, but the instructions say no more than 30 min to prevent overheating. I like the intensity dial remote. The first time I plugged it in, it didn't turn on; so I took out the fuses and put them back in, plugged and unplugged the remote, and then it worked fine. When the intensity dial is all the way down, it also seems like it's off. And when the remote is plugged in, it will override the intensity dial on the main control panel. Happy so far!
