I don't know how else to explain it but I get itchy ears. I live in a super hot desert climate, and I wear headphones for the majority of my day. So the insides of my ears seem to sweat or something. I'm constantly going at them with q-tips just to scratch the itches lol. And I don't like the economic and environmental impact of disposable thingies.So I saw these on sale, and grabbed them. They are great. I'm very very careful with them, of course you are not supposed to stick things in your ears because you could puncture your eardrum and all that. I usually wet a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol, and then use the large scoopy scraper thing to scratch against the insides of my ears, and wipe it on the cotton ball to clean it. I will say in a way it's a bit of a too much of a good thing in that there's more tool types than I really needed. Also, if you hate that wet-ear feeling you get when getting out of the shower, I'd combine these with another reusable ear cleaning tool that is actually shaped like a q-tip for trying to absorb the water in your ears since these won't fill that function.Great item! High quality, not bendy or weak. I love them, and I save a little money and reduce something I was filling landfills with.

These are thin metal tools to clean your ears. They feel sturdy and are easy to clean afterwards. A couple of the ends are a but angled so it might take a few uses to acclimate using them. People with large ears might not like them but I have small ears so they are great for me. Overall it's good value for money and a lot more effective than Q-tips.

Don't get me wrong, these do work great and they are easy to clean. However, they are very pricey for what you get. The spring end is a bit tight and does not collect wax as it should.

So as a result of wearing ear buds 8 hours a day for almost 2 years, I was so sensitive that I developed contact dermatitis. My ears itch so badly and I'm constantly pulling flakes out of them. At first I was using whatever sharp object is around to scratch, but that can be unsafe and not satisfying. So I ordered this kit and O.M.G. The absolute, lasting relief is life changing. Plus using it regularly to clean them out has reduced the amount of flakes. If you suffer like I do, I can't recommend this kit enough.

Use it carefully

You obviously need to use a kit like this with care, but as long as you understand that & accept the risks I'm happy with how it works. Too soon to say, but hope/expect it will help me to remove wax accumulations that I deal with via those OTC syringe-balls + cleaning solutions. I once had my doctor remove some wax with some similar tools.

They work, I just wish the ends were a softer silicone or plastic. If you are not careful it is easy to go too hard or deep and hurt yourself. But the tools do work and feel good as long as you are careful.
