Aveeno Smart Essentials Nighttime Moisture Infusion, 1.7 Ounce

For reference: I am a 29-year-old, pale, Caucasian female with combination oily/dry skin. My skin burns easily but generally tans by the end of the summer.I was looking for a night-time moisturizer that would replenish the driest parts of my skin after washing with a salicylic acid face wash. This moisturizer is wonderful! It provides a deeper level of moisture than my daily lotion does, but it is not greasy, and it absorbs quickly. My husband thinks it smells nice (so do I), and it gives my skin that dewy, healthy look. I do not put it on my "T-zone." I've been using it for about a month now, and it has not caused any breakouts to date.Note: Don't be shocked by the size of the packaging relative to the jar. It's a big box and a tiny jar.

I'm one of the people who actually loves the smell of this cream. My problem is that it's not very moisturizing. I'm a loyal Aveeno user and I'm going to have to put this on my, "don't ever buy again" list. It's much too light for a night cream. It's even pretty light for a daytime lotion. I usually have pretty oily skin when I use just about any other moisturizer, but this cream is so thin that my skin actually feels tight and itchy unless I mix it with coconut oil or something equally ridiculous. In the interest of fairness, my skin does look brighter and more supple since I started using the cream, but I switched to a different face wash than what I'd been using at the same time, so it could be that as well.

Didn't have a night-time moisturizer, just a day-time one (oh! the things we go through for vanity!) and after much insistance in the past from family members who insisted I needed a night-time moisturizer, I finally caved last year. Seeing as how I've never used a night-time moisturizer, this one seemed to work well.I do need to comment on the ridiculousness (maybe silliness is the better word) of the packaging though. This product is tiny. It goes a long way and it lasted me through last Summer and last Winter, but it's tiny. It came in a small box that secured it and then a larger (fancier) box that secured that. Not sure if this packaging was the one that assured the company that it would transport the best or what. Anyway, my husband and I had a good laugh about it.

Sure, it moisturizes, but how does it get into my eyeballs?!Whatever oily residue is one with this moisturizer, it will find its way into your eyes in the morning and sting the hell out of you. Trust, it does not matter how much or little you use. I can only imagine how much of it is also in my pillow case rather than having been absorbed into my skin.Get a product with more natural ingredients.

I typically love Aveeno products but this one did not work for me. While it is a great, thick moisturizer it caused me to break out immediately. I discontinued use for a while, ran out of my other night moisturizer and tried this again and I broke out all over again. Now I use it on my hands at night (no problems there) but something in this one did not agree with my sensitive skin. Oh well.

I am always on a lookout for a good night cream. I do not like very thick ones, but the gel ones do not do much for my skin either. I have clear, normal skin. I tried Aveeno day moisturizer, and decided to try this nighttime cream (can't go wrong for this prize). Loved it! It has a great smell (I wish the daytime moisturizer would smell the same!). It goes on thick, but gets absorbed very quickly. My morning face looks very refreshed, and not oily at all. I am very satisfied with this product, and will be buying it again once I run out.

I like the smell, however it made my face breakout. Have used it on my arms with no problems.

I have dry skin on my cheeks and oily skin on my forehead. I use this lotion all over my face morning and night. It feels wonderful on my skin, has a nice scent, and just works great

This is the best cream ever I have tried until now. I used a lot of diiferent cosmectics , I falled in love with several night cream. but this one is definitely my favourite. First of all, it looks small but you don't need lot of quantity on your face so it lasts a long time in your drawer. Your skin looks refresh the first morning. No need to wait several weekd to see the effects. Just great!!!!

Highly scented, caused a massive breakout so had to stop using, which I’m surprised at as I use many Aveeno products and have never had this before? Didn’t moisturise well either so disappointment all around.

Nice smell and lovely to use. Shame that it took one month to arrive.

Arrived well before it was due and well packaged. Lovely cream with nice smell and texture, not greasy and great for my sensitive skin.
