This is a can of black spray paint. it is flat.. Not like some people think the earth is. But more a non-glossy.. non semi-glossy kind of black paint in a can that is compressed so when you press the thingy at the top the paint comes out violently. Hey, what do they call that thingy? Anyway, yes, this is black paint. I think there is some other chemicals in the can besides paint that if used in a small area without good ventilation may cause you to start talking to imaginary animals and or things that are not actually there. IF this occurs you may wake up with said black paint where you did not intend to have black paint. This should not be confused with coffee or other black substances. Do not put this in your eye or use it to decorate anything you may confuse as food stuff. In all. This appears to be a good product when you consider it and use it as flat black paint. Use and or misuse of it as anything else may change your own review and rating of the product.

This paint was worth the money! We bought a house last year and the people who flipped the house did not use high heat paint in and around our fireplace. After winter, we noticed all the paint was burned off and we had red splotches on our black fireplace. This sprayed on easily and covered up the splotches. The color isn’t an exact match, but you can’t tell. It works well!

I bought this to redo my patio fire pit table and applied 3-4 light coats after thoroughly cleaning/sanding it. The spray was even - I cleaned the spray can by turning upside down and spraying till no paint comes out of the nozzle. The brown color is flat and matches with my other patio furniture. After 3-4 coats I decided to give some contrast so bought a copper high heat spray can from local big box store and spray painted the frame - looks great. I have not tried firing the fire pit yet - when I do I will revise this review. Overall a great product - no clogging and gives smooth/even finish.

If you are looking for nice paint on metal or plastic that heats up, this product is excellent. Better than all other 4 different brand that I've try. This is the one!

It works as advertised. I would warn not to put the entire can in the fire though. It’s l little to much for the can.

This product is garbage and should be pulled off the market. The paint does not spray like every other can of spray paint that I have ever used. It squirts, dribbles and splatters out of the can. Krylon owes me a refund for the product, an hour of wages for the clean up, two rounds of chemo therapy based on the amount of acetone that i had to pour on my hands to clean them, a new wedding ring and possibly a new Weber grill if I can't get this junk off of it. Check other reviews, this is not an isolated occurrance. This is a strong "Do not buy"

I used it on my gas grill works fine. I would recommend it. Good seller fast delivery.
