80 Degree Folding Sofa Bed Cabinet Hinge Spring Hinge (1 Pair)

Bought these for a custom bench we built in our kitchen. Bought matching cabinets and put them on the ground and then bought a stair step from a big box store as our bench lid. Works pretty great, but the hinges settle somehow and become slightly odd to open when you dont use them for a week. Its odd, but perfectly acceptable.

These hinges are just what my project called for, however figuring out how best to locate the hinges was a little challenging. Installation instructions were basically non existent. It took some trial and error on some practice pieces before I could finalize the best location/position for each hinge. Getting them installed is better done with two people, but I managed by myself, and they are working out great. They open the lid to about an 80% angle, which is what I wanted, and they hold the lid open. They do not close slowly so I added some cork pads to the corners for a soft quiet landing of the lid.

Works really well not hard to figure out how to mount correctly, I would imagine if you searched for this product you are remotely handy and it should be no problem! Heavy duty and holds up a lot of weight and moves smoothly… very nice product

They are not strong enough.

This item was not strong enough for the compartment under the bunk bed.

A great way to get a soft close on a toy box. We had to use 3 to hold the weight of the lid without bending the hinge. Very pleased!

25’ Airstream, and need I say, much cheaper than the AS parts supplier.

Installation in two sides needs to be precise for the door to align properly
