This is a fantastic knife! Perfect size for pocket carry. The COS Steel or Cobalt special is in the super steel category and easy to sharpen or hone. lower ratings for this knife was before they offered the leather sheath with it. That is what most of the complaints are about. Fallkniven was listening! And what a beautiful leather sheath with red stitching! And did not raise the price with this additional feature. Fixed blade knife with a Full Tang is much stronger then any folder you can buy. Do yourself a favor and buy a leather strop with some 1 micron Dimond paste and apply it. Teach yourself this technique for honing this knife and keeping it razor shop. Depending on your usage you may only need to sharpen it twice a year. Honing and sharpening are two different things. Most people think when their knife gets dull they need to sharpen it. This however is not the case! Honing pushes all the carbides back into their position. Buy it don't hesitate you won't be disappointed!

Excellent knife with a very poor sheath, No more Fallknivens

Excellent knife. I own a lot of higher-end knives and this was the sharpest out of the box I have ever seen on a production or semi custom knife. Truly hair popping sharp! The size is perfect for EDC and the fit and finish is outstanding. I've had no problems with the steel so far, no chipping or micro-chips and based on the performance of my other Fallknivens in the same steel, I don't expect to have any issues. As far as the sheath - mine came with 2. One is a very high quality leather dangler trimmed in red stitching. Very cool! The other is the tiny Zytel cover. The latter is designed for pocket carry and works well, but...yes it is small. No a problem at all if you wear jeans or the like. But if you have pockets the size of shopping bags, perhaps you will want something more secure.... Overall, if you're a knife person, or even if not, you want this.

The knife looks cool, has good design, is fairly sturdy, is compact, really sharp (out of the box) with good edge geometry, it slices well, considering how thick it is. The sheath is terrible, even for pocket carry, its difficult to get it out of your pocket, and then get it back in (and i think it dulls the edge) The knife steel is verry brittle, and is prone to get "micro chips" along the edge, even when doing food preparation in the kitchen on a cutting board (im VERY disappointed 😞). I use this knife EVERY SINGLE DAY, for any cutting chore under the sun, i don not baby it. I have never once regretted a knife purchase, but for a $130 dollars.... I've bought much more expensive knives, cheaper knives, users and display pieces. I knife i carried for a few years and had good results with was the BK 24 D'Eskabar, i bought the fallkniven KK as a classier "upgrade", with better steal and a better handle, but boy was i wrong...

SUPER high quality knife. Great new steel, clean lines, superb finish. This is my new neck knife to go with my A1 ( not the A1 Pro, yet )

Love the design. Super strong and way sharp. Sheath is for pocket carry so it's small and lightly attached. Read the descriptions and reviews since this knife is different from ordinary fixed blades. It's a great knife in the hands of those who understand it. Highly recommend!
