Interesting Educational Item
Bought this for my granddaughter and it only had an issue of a crack in the cover. Amazon immediately sent a replacement and we have little cactus growing. It would be nice if you could set the light so it would operate like a timer. It can be set for different number of hours but you have to turn it on each day.

Returned it
It arrived with the wall of the terrarium cracked. I checked to see if it had the same problem mentioned by others about the LED lid not fitting. It did not fit. If you're like me and not very good at checking the dimensions of things you order, know that this terrarium is very small.

Happy, but...
I just got mine in the mail and was really excited to set it up! I'll admit that I'm a little bit of a nerd... Anyways, after I hydrated the germination disk and planted the seeds I realized that the LED light doesn't fit. It's slightly too long so there is one corner that sticks up. In the big picture it probably won't make much of a difference, I'll just have to watch to make sure it doesn't dry out too quickly because the slight air gap. Overall I'm happy and looking forward to my little cacti! =)

Poor quality
First item was damaged, clear plastic cracked. Amazon replaced, same issue. Plus the lid/light does not fit properly. This could be a nice item, but the packaging was poorly designed.

This came broken and I didn't even get a full refund (only 80%) when I returned it. Should have paid attention to all the bad reviews even though my son really wanted it for Christmas. Total disappointment.

works great
I really like mine. It worked perfectly with no issues in 1 week i had little cacti sprouting all through the terrarium. Just find an old cell phone wall plug and you are golden

LED not lighting
Right out of the box one of the red LEDs won't light. Will it make a difference? Probably not. Still kind of a bummer.
