L'Occitane Ultra-Rich 25% Shea Butter Face Cream for Dry to Very Dry Skin, 1.7 oz.

I’ve finally found my night cream! I’m 48 years old and have tried a gazillion creams and I’ve never found one I loved until this one. Most are just not moisturizing enough for me. I have very dry skin and like a rich cream in the evening. I actually prefer one that’s kinda greasy cause my skin just soaks it up. This cream is rich, fairly thick and just slightly greasy. Not as greasy as say Ponds, it’s way too greasy. It’s probably still too greasy for some, but perfect for me, all depends on what you prefer. If you have dry aging skin, you might love it as well! It has a light pleasant fragrance. I’ll definitely keep buying.

First let me start by saying I used to have terrible skin and am very sensitive to breakouts with particular products. I have been to the dermatologist who prescribed a topical cream, but I still have to be considerate of the products I use.This is by far the best moisturizer I have ever used! I go back and forth between this and the 5%, depending on the weather and dryness of my skin. Typically this is my winter moisturizer, and the 5% is my summer. DOES NOT CLOG PORES! This product is NON-COMEDOGENIC which means it will not clog your pores, even tho many products market as oil-free or non-pore clogging, if it doesn't say non-comedogenic, I don't touch it anymore. I was very surprised at first that this product is so amazing, since I have always thought shea butter was very heavy and would definitely cause breakouts. I have had none whatsoever!In addition to being non-comedogenic, it goes on so smoothly, and does not feel greasy or heavy at all! I certainly recommend this to anyone, and I recommend that you just buy both this and the 5% shea moisturizer by L'Occitane. I have been using these for a little over a year now and do not trust any other moisturizers with my skin.

Smaller jar than expected but the product is so potent and thick that a little goes a long way! Perfect night cream that deeply moisturizes especially for the colder months like around now. I've had it for about a month or so now and barely made a dent in it. It also didn't break me out personally, but that depends on your skin type (I have combo). I also tried wearing it under makeup in the morning because my other moisturizer was too slippery/wet, and it really had a nice finis. It was definitely worth the investment and I highly recommend!

I absolutely love this face cream. It’s so rich, creamy and soothing with a light pleasant scent. I used to spend so much money on high end moisturizers but this is reasonably priced and works better. Highly recommend

I’ve been using this cream/moisturizer for a couple of years now applying it every night before I go to sleep. (During the day I use the 5% Comforting Cream.) I stumbled upon a Loccitane store several years ago at the Atlanta Airport during a layover, and the cosmetician suggested this cream.I have very sensitive skin both on my face and my hands. Normally in the past my face appears dry and very flaky with reddish patches. I’ve been through so many creams with terrible results and was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have a bad reaction to this one when I started using it.It is a thick cream, but I just barely dab it on all over my face and then gently rub it in. It does not take much cream at all. I believe a jar lasts about a year.As some reviewers have said, yes it does have a heavy scent, but that doesn’t bother me because of the results I have seen in my skin. (I also want to say an acquaintance of mine just recently asked me what I used on my face because my skin looks so good.)

I have very sensitive skin, especially around my eyes. I sometimes see a dermatologist to get a steroid cream, that is how bad it is! This is the only moisturizer that I have used that does not inflame my skin. The only thing I would change is the scent. I read the reviews before I bought and several explained it has a light scent, which it does, BUT it smells like baby powder, not my favorite smell.

My daughter has eczema and this moisturizer has helped her tremendously this summer. It is a thick moisturizer which has helped coat her skin for a longer period of time. I was worried about the baby powder scent but her skin hasn't reacted to it. She's been using it now for about 2 months and hasn't had any flare ups or red blotches on her face. One jar lasts her about a month but I find it completely worth it!

This product did well as far as moisturizing goes. Pleasant, light fragrance. Didnt break me out despite my dry, super sensitive skin. Out of all the moisturisers i have tried, i dont think i will purchase this again because of the slightly higher price. Think ill stick to simple korean products. Otherwise its pretty good.
