TAG Face and Body Paint - 1 Stroke Split Cake 30g - Petal

TAG face paint is what I primarily use in my face painting kit because of its high opacity and blending properties. The paints are very pigmented and easy to work with, and rarely crack unless you over apply them. The price point is a little bit higher for TAG, though it’s worth the investment if you’re looking for professional quality face paint. I love their solid colors but their split cakes are some of the best. This green split cake is one of my favorites of all time because it can be used to create leaves, stems, dragons, snakes, grass, and more. I find myself reaching for it very often, but a little goes a long way so it lasts for quite a while. It shows up well on a variety of skin tones. I really recommend this one if you’re looking for a versatile, brightly colored green split cake.

I ordered as a gift for a face painter. The box was so small that I was worried, but she was thrilled and said it was perfect. The colors are vibrant!

Super small but I love the colors! I wish the pallet was larger for the high price but the quality of the paint is good. I look forward to painting kids faces on the 4th of July

This split cake is a must have for any face painter and is not limited to just dragons. It is small in size but it lasts a long time and is the perfect size for flat brushes. I activate the paint by wetting your brush first. If you need more wetness, spritz your brush with a spray bottle, not into the paint container as the colors will run together and you will lose the separation of color lines. The colors go on bright and opaque and since the black is on the edge, you will save time because there is no need to outline your design. I recommend a 1" or 3/4" flat/angled white taklon or paint pal arty brush for application although you could use a sponge too (not as good sharpness of lines though with a sponge). The colors wash off easily with soap and water and I have never had anyone complain of an itchy feeling or gotten a rash from this paint. I use this for dragons, sunset backgrounds, flames, tropical flowers, eye/arm graffiti lettering, masks, and a lot more! Highly recommended!

I bought this face paint to create an Elsa look for my daughter for Halloween. The quality of this is well beyond that of a typical face paint found in a drug store or Halloween store. Even though I am far from a professional, I found it easy to apply and would purchase again.

Not one of their best cakes, I feel like the white should be wider, so they don't mix in the middle.

Love TAG. Great colors, great coverage, just great all around as usual. I've used it for everything y'all would, from leaves to reptiles to caterpillars to line work and it's a winner.

The paint is fantastic. I have ordered many colors from these guys and use them for all my festival costumes as well as Halloween costumes. It goes on and stays on all day, 12 + hours ! Its solid, doesn't smudge when dry. ( rain does make it smudge ) and washes off with relative ease ( I use Noxema and Makeup wipes ) ( Neon Pink can hand on for longer then 12 hours ! )
