Used as a replacement for a turtle filter motor

I thought I was going to have to buy a whole new filter but was able to get the part I needed. Saved me a lot of money. It was the direct replacement was easy to install. Just pull the old one out and slide the new one in.

I own several Fluval U3's and they do a decent job of keeping our turtle tanks clean. Eventually the pump stalls because the plastic part of the impeller ages, weakens and looses it's grip on the magnetic impeller shaft. This causes to plastic part to slide up and jam against the housing. Save yourself some cash, get a couple of feet of 6 pound fishing line and tightly wrap some around the plastic part where it mounts on the impeller shaft. When done it should not be easy to slide the plastic part off. Works like a champ.

Good product my filter is kind of old so instead of buying a new one is better to replace the parts this fits perfectly and it does it's job good

The real workhorse of a filter. I have two Flovals on my turtle tank. On one pump 2 broken vanes and kn othe 1 broken vane.New lives for these pumps babe!!

Impeller replacement made the filter work like brand new.

I was turtle sitting for a friend for a few years while he was stationed in hawaii. The filter dies a little ways in and this was the required replacement. This piece lasted 3 years minimum and was the best pricing i could fin on the internet! I highly recommend this product and seller.

I'm on my third one. I thought the noise was normal. But it was broke.I agree with some reviews I have spent over £60 on this product in as long as I have had the u3.I have to keep a spear.The yellow flimsy plastic holding the propeller in place seems to be the problem.I raised a complaint and they said go back to the shop or manufacturer.I think they should go back to manufacturer to see if they should do a recall. They may have a faulty batch.
