Starkey Trunk Release Button Kit - Compatible with Ford Mustang 2005-2009

Very easily installation! Took me me less than 30 minutes. Works perfectly

Does what it should, easy install with only needing a screwdriver to take off the console lid, a pliers to close the wire connectors, and wire cutters if you're fussy about the ziptie ends. The plastic piece the button is connected to was a Ford part in my kit which made it look factory. The instructions really make it easy to install. The install took about 30 minutes total from getting tools to putting them away.

It's an easy installation as long as you follow the instructions and once hooked up no more standing in bad weather fumbling with your keys

Honestly, this is amazing. Does exactly what you would think it would do, and seems durable so far. If you're like me and don't have a key fob, you're left with the only option of getting out of your car and using the physical key to unlock the trunk. Very frustrating that these mustangs didn't come with one out of the factory. Anyways, definitely would recommend.

Initially I liked having this button but it’s become lose and opens while driving

Great kit does the job and is fairly simple to install i definitely recommend it

So glad to have a trunk button in the car now. Only hard part is getting the wire tap on the ground wire in the center consol. Also removing the trim to get the wires takes a bit on the passenger side. But product is easy to instal after that and wires were all correct and works great.
