Brotherhood of Light Egyptian Tarot Cards Paperback – February 28, 2010

I wish these cards were a bit bigger so I can fully appreciate all the exquisite details in each card. As much as I love Rider-Waite & Pamela Colman Smith, I was searching for something 'new to me' and this is the one. It's a different system to learn but if you like Astrology, Magic, Numerology and all things esoteric then this will keep you occupied. As others have mentioned, definitely get The Sacred Tarot book by C.C. Zain, but the little white booklet that goes with the deck is a pretty solid place to start.

This is a great deck. It is smaller but the card stock is really good quality. I’ve been studying a lot of different decks. This one is completely different I haven’t wrapped my head around it yet. Will review after I worked with it for awhile. But definitely excellent quality.

The cards feel nice in the hands, they are on the small size compare to regular tarot cards, which is great for my small hands. They shuffle quite nicely; however, they are thin. The colors are ok. However, I do not much care for the design on the back of the cards. The cards backs are too crowded, also have the emblem of TB of L with too many meanings etc. (the real meaning of the Tarot is so vast, it could easily take a lifetime of study...). A simple pattern on the back eg. a mandala etc. would have been quite enough for me.The 22 Major Arcana (the reason why I bought this deck), seems to have the Original Egyptian drawing of the Tarot; and it's Perfect for studying the TAROT, if you like the "Ra Material" on the Tarot!!!Love and Light to all.

This is a beautiful and faithful upgrade of the original Church of Light deck. This important pack was the favorite of Masons both in Europe and America over the turn into the 20th century. It has not been well enough known or understood, so I hope this very handsome new edition helps to bring this traditional Tarot more fully into the spotlight
