Push Pull Hoe V Blade for Deep Roots and Better Cultivating USA Made

This tool is amazingly effective and amazingly easy to use. Weight is not an issue like 1 review that I read. If used properly and regularly, you aren’t picking it up, you’re just pushing it and pulling it. This is a much better and heavier duty tool than the Skidger version that is made over seas. Worth the extra money spent to wait on this tool to be delivered instead of going to a big box store and getting an inferior product. Also the shipping didn’t take near as long as what the Amazon page said it would take.

This is a good tool. I noticed it works best on flat, dry ground. The first day I got it, it was very wet and muddy in the garden, and our garden seems to stay bumpy and lumpy (not flat and smooth like ones I see on YouTube videos), so working it the first day in those conditions was difficult. I felt like I was vacuuming the garden with the way you move it back and forth, lol!! You do have to be careful and watch that you don't slip out too far on the outward strokes with it because it cuts EVERYTHING (vegetables included)! I really like the way this hoe can be used almost like a spade in uprooting deep rooted grasses. I also have been keeping the edges sharp w/ a metal file and that helps too. My dad likes it - he is 86 and still gardening - and said, "This tool, like every tool, has its purpose and place." It won't replace my standard hoe, and I'd like to try a stirrup hoe in the future, but, I don't regret buying this at all. I truly recommend it.

This is a serious tool that has been built to last. I use a lot of mulch in my garden (wood chips, pine straw, etc.)--with this hoe I slide under the mulch and cut out the weeds. Then I just smooth the mulch back in place. If you're a no-till gardener like me, this hoe is a must have. Of course, it works great in those places where I don't mulch, too. I own several hoes, but this one is my favorite. I had thought about buying this hoe for a long time but balked at the price. But now that I have it, I feel like I got my money's worth for sure. And if you were thinking about spending more to get a hoe from Holland or Switzerland (and those are very nice hoes) don't bother. Buy this made in USA hoe instead.

I hate weeding! It’s time consuming and not fun. I have tried all sorts of weeding techniques: hand weeding, hoes, loop tools, etc., and they all helped, a little. One day I saw a video on the Push Pull hoe. It made weeding look easy, downright painless. Glad I decided to buy one because it works like a charm, with little effort on my part. It is great for removing shallow rooted grass poking through the mulch, and the pointed tip is also very effective when used on deep root annoyances. The push-pull motion is very gentle, hardly work up a sweat kind of motion, while it quickly cleans a garden bed. This hoe is one of my favorite garden tools.

I really like this hoe/weeder. The push pull method saved a lot of muscles being sore. Takes weeds out in an ease. I own two of them. My wife liked it so well I had to buy one for myself. Getting under plant foliage to remove weeds makes this tool a winner. Going to order one for my granddaughter.

I used it per instructions. It didn't work for me or maybe I don't know how to use the hoe.

Item is just to heavy to work with, my age does NOT work well.

Grandpa had one like this. His friend who was a gardener gave it to him. Only saw it recently, while helping with a project. It still works great, but current owner will not part with it. (Necessitating this purchase) Hoe is well Made in the USA by Lanco Tools. Decimates weeds with less effort. Every one who tries it, wants one. Great addition to our tool shed.
