this is a very good book to learn the basics of DSP and implementation on labview.i found it very helpful to actually build every VI by myself, and i ended up to learn much more details of labview that were dropped in the contextthe book will not teach you what is FFT nor what a convolution is, it rather go over all of that and use it as tools.so you should be familiar with all of that.the book has a quick labview tutorial, i am not sure if this is useful at all.any how the labs on the included CD are excellent, i got most of it run on LV 2011 install option student version.highly recommended.
