So far, I'm loving this stuff. No scents, no skin softeners -- no crap. Rinses clean, gets out dirt, yet very gentle when cleaning sensitive materials (like plastics). It would probably work well on just about anything. Has the consistency of dish soap, and needs to be diluted.

Allow this review to quell your woes as I can report Liquinox fills your need with glassware (removing all odor). If you have been using plastic pipettes for some time and are environmentally conscious, I am sure the concern has crossed your mind about the amount of plastic we sometimes thoughtlessly throw away by the hundreds. If that is a concern of yours, as it was once mine, I recommend making the investment. Glass pipettes have saved me a decent amount of money in the short-run, and certainly will in the long-run (because of the cost effectiveness of proper diluting Liquinox). Liquid cleaner from Alconox is the liquified form of the powder form called Alconox. This is HIGHLY concentrated so you mix 1.5 ounces into a GALLON (10 mL per liter) for the general purpose cleaning solution. The solution you create you then use SPARINGLY (few drops) into each item to be cleaned, Add 1 or 2 oz into basin to wash. Rinses cleanly without issues. Either purchase this or the powder form for cleaning. Follow the directions for dilution and use.

Great for cleaning CPAP masks hoses. I mix 2 1/2 Tablespoons to one gallon boiling distilled water in a large bowl. I use a large bowl and boil the water in a kettle. I soak mask, hose and other removable parts in this hot solution until it is almost cooled. Swish everything well, drain and rinse in another gallon of clean distilled water. Hang up to dry.

Leaves no residue whatsoever, even when cleaning with tap water. Everything comes out spotless! The only thing is that you need to shop around for the best price.

cleaning Records!!!!! I work in a lab and play lots of vinyl records oneday I figured why not use liquinox, so after speaking qith the company. There is no going back. Make your own 1% solution. It is the best simple put. Everything else is a rip off, or they are using liquinox and not telling you.
