Nice Variety. Good For New or Returning Collectors/Players.
I bought ten packs and only received 3 duplicate cards, one of the duplicates were different artwork also. As a player returning after twenty years and trying to build a collection back up, I don't have any complaints with what I got. Nothing too special, but a really nice variety of cards, colors, and years/releases. I'll probably buy again. My only problem with the order was that they said, if you order in multiples of five you get bonus cards. At least that's what I thought I read. Maybe I misunderstood. But, I only got the packs, which was fine. But bonus cards would've been nice too. Maybe it just meant in quantity, not in specialty, and I didn't really count all of them.

Great buy for New Players or Collectors
This was a great buy for any new player to magic looking to bolster their collection. I purchased 10 packs that were shipped from Super Games Inc. Because I bought 10 packs, they included a Mythic Rare Mirror Mad Phantasm and a Foil Rare Necropolis Fiend. None of the cards included booked over $1, but at $1.66 repacks I wasn't expecting anything overly valuable. The packaging quality as well as the quality of the cards contained was very high, mostly mint/near mint with one white border common having some play discoloration around the edges. It only took 4 days to ship to me from GA, and has arrived well ahead of other orders i placed on amazon almost a week prior even with the free shipping option. Of the 122 cards received I only received 7 duplicate cards. The cards range in set greatly, but again as a collection booster you get things from all over and it was nice to get some of the old cards I was used to seeing come from boosters back when I started playing in the 90's as a kid. The color spread was almost perfectly split between the five colors and it was about a 60/40 split between creatures and spells giving many play options to work with. The only recommendation to make to future buyers if starting from scratch is to buy some sort of land pack with these items as no basic lands are included (which is in the product description). Decent buy for new or returning players
I bought 50 packs. I am returning to Magic after a 10-year break and after selling all of my cards except a few decks. I'm trying to rebuild a collection. I bought my brothers' (smallish) collection, bought some packs, intro decks, and the SOI intro pack. I'm still waiting to see if my brother can find his common/uncommon collection, and I wanted to restock my commons and uncommons while getting a few interesting rares. I also like opening packs, but I thought this might be better because it's less investment and you can get mostly worthless rares from a booster box anyhow. I thought it might be nice to see cards from across the years to learn about different abilities and themes. It would also be fun to see some of my old cards pop up in these packs. This was fun, but you do get what you pay for. Don't expect anything amazing, even with the bonuses. Almost every rare you get will be a $0.25-$0.35 rare. I got a few $0.50 uncommons. The most valuable card I got was a Common Qasali Pridemage, which goes for over $2. That was a nice surprise. The Bonuses were: FOIL Ember Swallower Ugin's Nexus (MR) Council of the Absolute (MR) Zurgo Helmsmasher (Foil MR, from a Duel Deck) 2014 Core Set pack - I did pull a Door of Destinies from this, which was pretty sweet! I play MTG casually. I like to make creative decks that have a lot of flexibility and multiple paths to win. They are more fun that way, even if they are not as dominant, and they cost way less to create. With that in mind... PROS: -Great way to boost a collection, whether you are just starting out or getting back into the game after a while. -Fun to look through cards from different eras -You get some decent (but no great or valuable) cards -Very little duplication, even with Commons -Not very expensive, you can get cheaper repacks, but not with this many rares and the bonuses -Nice selection of cards over the years (Mostly Odyssey to Present - Origins/SOI and just a few from older sets) CONS: - Not as fun as breaking open packs because you know there won't be any $$$ cards - A bit of an investment (750 cards w/100 plus rares, plus bonuses for about $75; Star City Games has 1,000 cards w/25 rares for $25) - Bonuses were not as good as I hoped - except that the Magic 2014 pack had Door of Destinies, which is nice, but not enough to significantly boost the value) - Totally not worth it for people with an already established collection FINAL VERDICT: It was worth it for me. It accomplished what I hoped. I needed some cards to help me start deck building again. Getting the extra rares was mostly worth the extra cost, although I was a bit disappointed by the bonus cards. I am happy to have purchased this, but probably won't order any more.
