Corel Painter Essentials 6 Digital Art Suite [Mac Download]

I have used earlier, simpler Corel programs. This version is unwieldy, prone to crashes, hard to navigate. I could not hand edit photo paintings. In particular, I had no control of color choosing in the photo painting function. I could choose colors for free painting not based on photos. I spent hours on tutorials and a tech support appointment. The tech suggestions did not solve my problem.

Absolutely basic program. I'm really unhappy with how few features it has. I can't move anything around the page, just like in real life. Probably a good sketching tool for those who are so inclined, but I feel like I just wasted 50 bucks.

There are no brush settings in this version of Core,l very limited but does a good job overall if all you want to do are simplistic actions in a workflow otherwise buy a full version. I will have to re-purchase another version this is just too watered down for what I need...
