theres gaps in between strips for changing strip direction which makes them perfect for a tv. they are black with clear epoxy resin on top to seal the leds in. All the lights are the same color with no discoloration out of the box and every color looks accurate and bright. the app auto connects to them from your phone so no extra setup work just plug in, install app and play. they feel a bit warm but thats any light out there. they set a nice atmosphere in my room too... There are cheaper quality strips(some more expensive) on amazon but these nexillumi strips are great at only a few more dollars then any of the nameless strips on amazon... well worth the $46(23 and 23) i paid to rgb the back of my tv and the underside of my desk. both strips can be controlled with my phone. its awesome. 3 years ago i paid $120 for 4 16" exterior strips from walmart and those have adhesion issues and discolored leds(out of the box defective) in places. i dont think im going to have those problems with these strips and i paid less; so to me thats a good deal that id recommend to anyone looking to improve the quality of life in the home or office..

Great product but like other users had issues with a Sony AF9. When the TV is off it is not really off so lights would turn back on randomly. My solution for other buyers, a low profile plug extension, and purchase a TECKIN Smart Plug Wifi Outlet USB mini Socket from amazon. It has the ability to cut power to the usb so the lights will turn off and stay off. You can use the app to set this up or if you have Alexa Echo or any Alexa Device just name the device from the TECKIN app, discover it in your alexa app, then setup a routen like "Alexa turn off the TV Led" and boom voice command off. You can also get more settings like have it turn on/off and group the command like "Alexa turn off the Bedroom TV" and have the TV and the USB side of the Teckin Turn off. Buyer beware most new TVs don't turn off and updates can cause USB to go live which I recommend not using the TV USB. My only negative comment is the device cannot do the color Yellow it's more of a green color.

Quality of the products gets 5 stars, but I have to knock this down to 4 stars due to the app not being all that great. Overall it's very easy to get the lights to function and make changes, but the app isn't as intuitive as other lighting apps I've used in the past. Making selections in some menus appears seems to be lacking some level of calibration that the main menu has. Generally this is something I've seen when an app is not designed to work on various resolutions. Some menus of the app cause the app to crash, too. I would use this product again though, because my gripes with the app are something that can easily be addressed through an update. The product itself is very high quality, and the strips being black is a HUGE plus in my opinion. The rest of my LED strips are white, and they're an eye sore in comparison to this one. The lights seem much brighter than my other strips.

Pros: Heat: I did test it and it’s safe to be opened for days, no heat will be generated from the LEDs. It’s not a safety hazard. RGB Colors : A mixture of many nice colors that I was able to adjust through the android app. Bluetooth: The android app worked nicely on my S10+, it connects through Bluetooth and I controlled the strip though it. Bright: It’s awesome that a long USB powered LED strip can provide this brightness. Plus, you can change the level of brightness in app. Installation: Installing the LED strip was very easy. What makes the installation simple is that it’s USB powered + the adhesive back. USB Powered: I like USB powered technology. You don’t have to connect it to a battery or an AC outlet. I was able to hook it to my USB port on the TV. Multi-Use : The fact that it’s USB powered enables me to use it in countless applications as long as they have USB outlets. You may use it for your PC , TV , or your car Adhesive: the double sided tape on the back stuck really well to my TV. Cons: Non for now.

Bought these for my 65" tv love the fact that it comes with the coil cord to go around the corners of the tv they look great even during the daytime. Very easy to install. make sure to check if your USB ports on your tv always have power going to them even if the TV is off. If not then the TV does need to be on in order for the lights to come on, if the USB ports are always supplied with power then you will be able to turn them on and off as you please which is what i have mine set to so that if i am not home and come home late i have light in the house. Great product the App is kind of goofy you can NOT set these lights up to pulse with the TV volume but you can with music from your phone which is still kind of cool but still a great product.

I bought these for the back of my TV and I thought I didn't want to hide them back there LOL so I put them on the wall. I work them with my tablet or any phone that I have with very basic functioning they work great. I like the lighting that comes from the LED chips. I like that there Bluetooth and you can take them anywhere you want use the USB I can hook on my bike my scooter and just plug into a USB power bank in my pocket and they run just as good as on my wall there waterproof as well so very cool. I really had made a party statement when I had the best Bluetooth speaker and this light strip at the Gazebo in the park funny how you can turn nothing into something with just a small little twist this is a really great item not just for behind TVs thank you gold chain approved

Love these lights the minute I opened them, Because it came with easy to follow instructions. The lights are a 5050 RGB STRIP LED light, that’s is 13.2 feet of a long rubber material like string. Once adhered it stays in pretty well and it’s easy to install on tv or others surfaces you have in mind. I just put it on the back of my tv in a circular shape and I noticed the tape was really strong and it was easy to stick on the surface but not outrageously sticky that i couldn’t do it myself. I love that it doesn’t require and outlet and it just needs to be connected to an USB PORT on your tv. And then with the Happy Lighting app it gets better and easier. I can control the color and the intensity among things like music and the timing. I can turn the LED ON or OFF And turn the lights any color right from my phone.

I bought this kit to go on the back of my Samsung Q7 85". I knew the sizing might be off but it would have worked out fine if the light strip came in equal sizes. The lights come in 4 sections. You would expect equal sizes for the sides and 2 of the same that goes on the top. Mine was short, long, short, long. I assume this was done so that you can trim the end but I lost 12-14 inches of lights because you can't trim and reconnect the pieces without soldering them. I am sure this doesnt make sense to some but besides that the quality is good and the output is great. It's nice the entire unit runs on 5v USB so no need for a power adapter. The only other issue i had is the app is a little buggy and low on working features. Most of the options didnt seem to work to well, but i can adjust the color from my phone which is the most important part.
