The Playbill Broadway Yearbook: June 2012 to May 2013 Hardcover – September 1, 2013

Another in the great series of intimate personal and statistical looks at all shows playing in the latest Broadway Season. As essential to the dedicated theatre fan as the equally mandatory "Best Plays" and "Theatre World" series (and the lamented Odel Annals, George Jean Nathan "Books of the Year" and Chapman "Annuals"). Nothing on the marvelous IBDb and IOBdb and IOOBDb internet services quite supplants this kind of personal touch.

I have all 9 volumes in this series and they are all exceptional in their content and history of the Broadway season. I especially like the extras, called the Scrapbook. It is far superior to the other series Theatre World, which used to be a terrific history, but has changed in content and they now have way too many errors. If you love Broadway, I highly recommend this series.

I bought two of these books for my girls for Christmas.They came very quickly.My girls just loved them. They had had 3 weeks in New york earlier that year and had seen many show while they were there. It was a great reminder of their trip for them. Marian

The Broadway Yearbook was an overview of every show on Broadway from June 2012-May 2013. It was comprehensive, with anecdotes and insights into the cast of every show. We loved it from start to finish!

This is a great reference if your a Broadway fan, and a welcome addition to Theatre World, which originated the idea of a reference book for each Broadway season. We Broadway fans should support both.

Yet again the Broadway year in review. Love it.

I've gotten the last 3 years of this book and love each one. I seriously spend hours looking through this book. I love everything about it - especially the 'scrapbook' segments.

For those of us that can't make it to New York every year it's so nice to have the Playbill Broadway Yearbook to read about all the musicals we've missed. Great book!

If you are a Broadway fan you have to get this collection, the most complete I know to get a great amount of information about it.
