Arcane Wonders Mage Wars Druid Vs Necromancer, Black

$17 for a game this huge is a damn steal. I'm really impressed with the amount of thought and effort that went into this. This game is well balanced and engaging. The turns are pretty quick, considering the complexity. It really scratches the war game itch without all the set up and take down. I am very impressed with this company. The customization is pretty endless and I love the novel concept of just having all your cards available in a book. The way you organize your spell book really can make the speed go so much faster than you'd expect. This is awesome. The art is cool and I really can't complain. I can't fathom such a deal.

I have all the expansions. This is the best one in my opinion. Both mages play totally different from each other. I can’t recommend this expansion enough. However, make sure that you have a few games under your belt before playing as the Nerco or Druid.

Amazing boardgame and fast shipping

This expansion adds two new mages to the excellent base game. Druid and Necromancer adds new cards and mages to give one more options when playing. Highly recommended if already a fan of the base game and looking for more variety.

I have to give it to the folks at Arcane Wonders, when they make an expansion they do it right. These new mages play like nothing presented before and as such take some time to learn thoroughly. Even with their new abilities, you can still beat them silly with your base mages of course because the game is all tactics and it has a great sense of balance. Druid controls the board with ever extending vines allowing her to summon creatures up all over the map and the necromancer can keep spamming cheap skeletons or tough as nails zombies to destroy and reanimate enemy creatures to your side.

Arcane Wonders does it again with a great MW expansion. Druid is very tough with vines everywhere. Necromancer swarms the arena with undead that just won't go away (ugh). MW is a great game and already eager for the next expansion :)

Says they’re selling Necromancer & Druid but you get Forcemaster & Warlord. I’ve tried twice. Both times it’s the wrong expansion.

I prefer this set to the Warlord/Forcemaster set. The Necromancer has some excellent abilities and makes playing a "bad" guy pretty entertaining. Definitely worth the cash!
