Kaplan SAT Subject Test Chemistry 2013-2014 (Kaplan Test Prep)

I bought this book about a week before the Chemistry subject test, and I really like it like many other Kaplan products. If you follow the directions in the book and take the diagnostic and review the necessary chapters in the book to freshen your mind of the material you will do well on the exam. The three exams in the back of the book (other than the diagnostic) are pretty comprehensive and mimic a real Chem subject test pretty well. The only downside to this book is a lack of tips and notes that tell you to what extent certain material is tested and how much of concepts you have to know.

Good reference book with lots of information. I was looking for a text with more SSAT Chemistry mock test papers.It has only 3 test papers. But it is clearly mentioned in product info.It could have been more helpful if you could include question banks on SSAT.

So, I'm taking the chemistry subject test again in November after taking it in May and scoring a 740. I took AP Chem, but I didn't want to review everything over again so I was looking for a subject test guide to sort of give me the basics of anything I forgot. I saw the great reviews, and I was like "why not give it a shot?" I ordered it. This book over-complicates things, and a lot of the examples they have in the text are pretty time-consuming to do without a calculator. The only thing that was nice about this book is the difficulty of the practice tests. But if you're coming here to self study or review, its not great.

This book is all you will need for the SAT subject test - Chemistry. Though, it would help if you already have a firm understanding of Chemistry. This book will only prepare for the SAT subject test. Don't go thinking you know all Chemistry. The shipping was excellent using Prime 2 days. Book came without a scratch.

Great review book. Easy to understand, clear, many examples included. Also, every practice problem and model test problem has a detailed answer explanation.

THE BOOK IS A SIMPLE SYNOPSIS OF ALL TOPICS OF SAT II CHEMISTRY. BUT, NOT MUCH IMFORMATIVE CONTENT. NOT SO GOOD, AS EXPECTED. THERE ARE MANY BETTER BOOKS IN THE MARKET.

it ok, but i this it not help full. no practice test, . now i want look for other books.
