WOW WOW WOW!!! This stuff is great for my short Auburn Semi-Pixie!! Perfect consistency for holding hair in place and adding extra for some areas does not cause a buildup. There also is no remaining buildup the next day so having to shampoo too often doesn't happen. I am ordering 3 more for office, purse, car, etc. It is SOOO Reasonably Priced! Smells nice and does the job. And you can also do some finger styling especially for short hair! I have tried a dozen different brands and this is my go-to from now on. It smells so nice, but is subtle, and doesn't leave sticky hands after use. I LOVE IT!!

These work better than any foam gel I used to get them at Walgreens and they don’t carry it so I was thrilled that I could get these on Amazon. They do not make your hair gummy. It just holds fantastically and I would buy them again or refer anyone else to get some.

Light finishing cream. Easy to apply. Light scent. Very light and not sticky. I'd give it a 3 on the hair style/hold scale out of 10.

Good hair product for holding up hair in the front without much scent or residue. I find the trick is to put it on while wet and let it dry, it will be a little crispy at first but then I run my hand through it a couple times so it's not crispy but still keeps it's shape. Then it looks natural but up.

I purchased Garnier Fructis' Style Pure Clean Finishing Paste for Hair based upon the rave reviews, but found on my hair, this product was ineffective. Over the last year, I have stopped coloring my hair and let my natural silver highlights take over the top of my head. My hair is healthier; softer, shinier and has more body since I stopped coloring it and well-hydrated thanks to another Garnier Fructis conditioning product. The reason I wanted to use this product as I wanted to get a paste to piece out parts of my hair to frame my face, without too much stickiness. Upon opening the jar of this paste I was pleasantly surprised that there was no overpowering odor. Very subtle and light, which was great. The product is somewhat slimy for lack of a better way to describe it, but it's also very solid in the packaging, so getting some to emulsify in my hand was a little bit tough. The product does not feel sticky and it did not make my hair look greasy, which I liked. The problem is, it really didn't hold my hair as expected. It's really ideal for keeping fly-aways in place, so maybe if your hair is thin and tends to be highly charged with static or is frizzy, this might be for you? My expectations for this product were not met, but I will continue to try to use it in different ways to see if maybe it's "user error" in some way and update this review if needed. I think your hair's condition, the weather, and your expectations will all come into play as to whether or not this product works for you.

Clean, good hold and works well. For some reason it's hard to find in stores where I live.

I absolutely love this hair paste. It is light weight and pliable. Provides definition but doesn’t make hair greasy. Love the shine too!! Great price for the size product - it lasts me about 2 months and I use it 2-3x a week. It takes such a small amount (about a pea size for shoulder length hair). Gosh I hope they never stop making it.
