Inov-8 Women's F-Lite 185 Cross-Training Shoe

These shoes are excellent looking and fit like a glove. I wear a 7.5 street shoe but usually buy an 8.5 workout shoe. I ordered the size 8 based on the reviews and they fit very well. I will confess that I went from a cross training shoe, which I have been very happy with, and switched to these without giving time to get used to the minimal support. I am a group exercise instructor and a personal trainer and definitely would not do something this foolish again. A minimal shoe takes time to get the feet accustomed to the lack of support. This mistake has created pain in my heels, one in particular, since I began wearing them. Don't get me wrong, I really love this shoe, so here is what I did. I inserted gel heel pads under the sole insert. I bought the gel heels inexpensively from a drug store. I now wear these shoes alternately with my cross trainers. My heel still hurts but I did the damage initially. The gel pad has helped to NOT injure it further but I blame myself, more than the shoe. Please don't just put on a minimal shoe and hit the ground running as I did. My classes are fairly high impact and as I said, it was a foolish mistake. I get lots of compliments on these. I wear them for personal training all the time and as long as I alternate these with my more supportive shoes for my high impact classes I have been fine.

I ordered this shoe based off of all the positive reviews and because I needed something for my P90X3 workout routines. I even ordered my normal size (10). The shoe was beautiful and fit perfectly. I really liked them. The only issue I experienced with the shoe is that the mesh material was frayed in one corner of one of the shoes. I ended up returning them because for that much money I didn't want a defective product. I went to order the same pair of Inov-8's a week later, when I noticed that I was being charged for tax. Evidently, Amazon is building a warehouse in Baltimore, which in turn, charges tax to Maryland residents. I decided to shop elsewhere, as I can find the same shoe at other retailers. Overall, I would purchase this shoe again - but make sure that you check your shoes for imperfections. You want to make sure that your shoes will outlast your workout routines.

I was super excited for these to arrive after reading all the raving reviews. The colors are awesome and they seemed really comfortable while testing them out in my house. I'm an avid crossfitter and I was hoping these would be a win. They seem to offer some slight cushion for short runs/sprints, but are minimal enough for heavy lifting.After reading suggestions to order up a size I went with a 10.5 and they were too big. I generally wear a 10 and sometimes a 10.5 in athletic shoes and heels to accommodate my slightly wider foot. I thought the 10.5 would be perfect, but unfortunately these will be going back. I'm still giving 4 stars for style points and comfort.

I LOVE these shoes for working out and for everyday wear and have been wearing them for several years. This is the second pair of the exact same shoes I have purchased so that I can keep one exclusively for the gym. They are very lightweight yet durable and are the perfect cross-training workout shoe. I switched to these from the traditional workout shoe a couple of years ago and have improved my balance and agility simply by having a better feel for the surfaces I walk, run or jump on while working out. I now think of those traditional workout shoes as "boxing gloves" for your feet. For those who say they need the support for high arches, no problem, I have high arches and these are perfect. Unless you have some diagnosed foot problem requiring a specific shoe design, give these a try. You will not be sorry.

I am an avid CrossFitter who was looking for an all-purpose shoe to get me through WODs. This shoe has been perfect! I previously was wearing Nike Free Runs which have a minimalist design but some support for running. These offer that plus the perks of a weightlifting shoe. I get great support for running/jumping, easy pivoting, durability, heel support for lifting, and to top it all off, they look incredible :) Other reviews mentioned that they tore or were damaged during rope climbs, but I have yet to run into that issue and I've worn them several times for climbing. Fit is great and so far they have been very durable - I've owned them for almost 6 months and work out at least 3-4 times per week with them.

Ok. I had never heard of the brand but I thought after reading reviews I'd give it a shot. I do a hiit boot camp 3-5 days a week and we also do cardio (running, jumping etc.). I was looking for a shoe that would give me a good grip on the floor but also not kill my feet when I need to run outside or do jumping exercises. This isn't it. You can look at the shoe and see how flat it is, there's basically no cushion. It's cute and fits but doesn't do what I wanted it to. :(. I'm new at all this so I've learned my lesson. If you're looking for a show to just walk and lift weights in then this is your shoe. DON'T RUN IN IT! Not even a jog!

Lately I have been really working to loose weight... I have a mat ... a plan.. weights etc...However my feet are killing me in my workout shoes.. Decided to drop the money into workout shoes ... now I typically wear 10.5 wide...However I need snug shoes and it's really difficult going to stores... I wear an 11 reg in Walmart shoes... So I took a leap of faith..Glad I did picked these up and just used them tonight and the traction is a dream, comfort is great and arch is good :) Overall really happy!

I've had these shoes for a year now and still love them for my Crossfit WODs (3-4/week with some extra running thrown in). I do think they are getting a bit stretched out by the ball of my food. I am still very happy with their grip for wall climbs, suicides, etc... They have held up great for rope climbs (no wear visible). I love the look, comfort of these shoes. I am starting to want to buy a new pair, perhaps next time a different pair with a bit more cushion for running on gravel/uneven surfaces. I do have some wear visible in the lace eyelets and in the soles.

Hab mir den Schuh nach sorgfältiger Recherche der Inov8 Kollektion bestellt. Habe einen Crossfitallroundschuh gesucht- ich muss sagen bisher bin ich schwer begeistert! Im Training ist der Stand/Kontakt zum Boden durch die dünne Sohle topp (Boxjumps oder Squats sind sehr kontrolliert ausführbar), man kann damit aber auch kurze Laufgeschichten gut absolvieren. Für längere Läufe ist er denke ich zu wenig gedämpft. Er passt wie erwartet- fällt genau der Größenangabe entsprechend aus. Würde ihn uneingeschränkt empfehlen- vorrausgesetzt man kann Doppelknoten binden, denn die Schuhbänder gehen relativ leicht auf ;-)

Super Schuh zum Joggen ! Passt super, kann man nur weiter empfehlen. Werde diese Marke in Zukunft weiter beobachten !
