They are slippery
I bought two sets for the very wide tires on my C-5 ragtop to sit over the winterThey connect nicely to make a nice wide berth. Now the Corvette is low--very low--too low to get a "regular floor jack" under the car. The garage floor is concrete.First attempt to get the car on the ramps failed because they just slid across the floor in front of the tires.Putting the front ramps on carpet cured that--However--the rear tires just spun as I tried to get them on the ramps--a piece of carpet placed on the ramp was just subsequently shot out he back.So--how did I get it up there on all four ramps?I strategically placed the ramps precisely where the car would be stored--- backed the car up about ten feet--put it in gear - hit the gas- then put the clutch in and coasted it onto the ramps and was ready to hit the brakes before the car went into the garage wall.Kinda like landing a plane on an aircraft carrier--OK-- I exaggerate. The problem came in the Spring--How to get it OFF?With the car on the ramps--I was able to get the jack under the rear trans/diff and lift it, put a couple 2x10 boards under each rear wheel and back it off.Almost time to do it again now!Oh--the ramps worked great--No flat spotted tires!

Great product but will slip on concrete
Took a little thinking but in the end I used a $12 piece of non slip carpet backing from Walmart cut into 4 pieces to keep the tire savers from slipping when I backed up onto them on my concrete floor. Overall I think they'll work just fine. Very good for the price.

We'll see
These tire savers function as advertised. The tire settles nicely into the curve of the device and promises to prevent the tire from developing a flat spot. I can't say for sure how well they will work since I just put them into place. I imagine that regular tire pressure checks would be advisable if the vehicle is to be stored for an extended period of time. My only concern is that the plastic out of which these tire savers are made seems a bit flimsy and subject to warping or breakage over time, especially if exposed to sunlight. I plan to keep them covered along with the tires in order to prevent that. We'll see what happens.

Difficult to use
These are difficult to use on a concrete floor. When I attempted to move the vehicle onto the ramps the rear ramps move backward and are thrown out from under the rear wheels while the vehicle does not move forward onto the front ramps. The only way that I was successful in putting the vehicle onto the ramps was to drive it onto the front ramps first, use a floor jack to pick up the rear of the vehicle, place the tire savers under the rear of the vehicle then lower the vehicle onto the ramps. These ramps may work on an asphalt surface but are difficult to use on smooth concrete surfaces.

The product seems like a great deal
This product is a good idea. an affordable tire holder to keep collector or hobby cars from flatspotting their tires while sitting for long periods. Griot's and other suppliers charge a ton for these. I got 8 because I was so excited at the cost. However, they were all slightly cracked although still usable for the purpose designed. The problem I had was that it was not possible to drive onto them without the scooting on ground away. So it would take quite a bit of work and forethought and good adhesive or other such material to keep them in place......that's just another project....I was trying to avoid another project with these.

Great idea, flawed execution.
I bought these to protect the tires on my Porsche from getting flat spots. Great concept. However, the execution of these particular ones is flawed. They slide around and are impossible to drive up on. I ended up needing to jack up each corner of the car to get these under the tires. Rolling the car off was easier, but still they ended up flying around the garage when freed of the weight of the vehicle. Worst is that I drove the car this spring and... still had flat spots after not even two months on the protectors. Save your money on these and spend it on the way more expensive versions that are softer rubbery material that actually do the job. These are getting recycled into something more useful.Did they break? No.Are they easy to use? No.Are they flimsy feeling? Yes.Do they FEEL sturdy? No. Were they? Yes.Would I buy them again? No.Did they prevent flat spots? No, not even close.
