While the arms maintain their colour the main body goes quite a bit paler as it stretches so it might not be satisfactory for you if you want it to stay close to the tone in the picture unless you go a size up and have a loose compression top. This is one of my fist compression buys so I've nothing to compare to but I definitely feel a bit of tightness. Went for large but should've gone medium I'm around 6ft 2 and not in complete fit shape.

Great product and great material top just fades a bit if it is slightly too small for you. But overall great product.
