ESV Church Bible

This Bible is the best you can get in an inexpensive Bible. Yes, the print is on the small side but, is well done and is easily readable. Yes, the paper is a bit thin but, not terribly so. Yes, there is some bleed through from the other side but, it’s minimal because of the line matching. No, there are no maps or concordance in the back matter. These would all be show stoppers for a more expensive investment but, for ten bucks you won’t do better! For the price you get a serviceable copy of God’s word in the ESV translation that includes the 2025 updated text. Which is why I purchased it. I want to thank both Crossway and Amazon for making this book available at such an affordable price! I will make daily use of it until the ESV Study Bible is released that I would prefer.

A very good book, small in size, not heavy! Good quality cover, but the pages are very thin and transparent.

Received, thank you. I find text to be a bit too small (i have +2 readers) and pages very thin in comparison to my old bible. But i can not give a Bible lower rating, because it is a Bible. Just keep in mind that text is very small. Smaller than newspaper print. I will look for medium print. God bless.

A good size and easy to read words

This is a perfect all around Bible. Yes, its pages are very thin, but that's how my Bibles always have been. You're not going to be able to highlight or likely take notes on the pages without bleeding through. Until it's used a bit the pages, though they don't stick together, aren't easily turned page by page. It's a bit of rubbing two together it a bit of pulling down with the finger tip rather than simply turning the page like a regular book. Again, that's how my Bibles always have been. I really like it. Lies flat, not cheap glued binding. Very satisfied.

I don't know why the reviews are giving this bible a 1 or 2 star rating. -it looks completely new -the pages being thin does not matter -although the words bleed through it is still readable and is not annoying -its a bible, okay
